mac_heath, Nice idea for a thread. I'm going to print this off so I can share it with some people I'm trying to get onto this forum. Thanks for assembling all this info guys/gals. Tightwad, IMO, I think you may be over sensitive to this sheeple name thing. I can't speak for others but as some have s...

Joyce, That is exactly why I like to check rumors. And this info does help a lot. I'm not sure the Compression lock is good for the Military. I don't own a with a compression lock so I haven't had much practice but I don't see...

Rumor Check

Hullo! Been hiding for awhile, but thought you people are the best source to dispel or confirm rumors I've heard about . Any idea if it's true that is go...

I'll take at least 2 t-shirts, but a polo would be nicer. I could wear that to work. And what ever happened to the cloissen pin idea (month or two back)? I'm still very revved up for that. "Ne vyklykaj vowka z leesoo, ..... bo tsej vowk maje }{ ." Don't call the wolf out of the forest, bec...

ATE, It is a Lum Tanto by . Do I need to say more? I have always found tantos to be hardy versital blades, fixed or folding. If you really want a fixed for EDC for possible defensive use and this tanto seems too large look at M...

Clay, That is how I use the cord on my Dragonflies. And I do agree about the falling and not being able to loose the knife if you need to. But most times I have used my Rescue I really didn't want to risk the knife leaving my control. Also you don't have to tighten the noose if you don't want to, th...

Kaizer, I haven't tried the bungee cord idea but it sounds reasonible. I have adjusted one of my spare ID holders to take a Ladybug and that works great. The Ladybug just hangs from my shirt or pants pocket top, can be pulled out when needed and returns when I'm done. You are right about having to b...

cmassicotte,
No comment!

I see a lot of you mention the hangman's noose, but it seems you just have the knot only. For my Rescue (and others) I use it the other way around so it can make the lanyard more secure. (see pic)

Anybody else use the hangman's this way?

Put me down as NOT a big fan of the Speed Safe design. I do like the blades, nice knives, good size (for their target market), well made. It is the Speed Safe thing I don't like. To me it is a novelty, my opens just as fast (i...

I seem to be an oddity even for here. I prefer SE blades and aside from the SE Military, none of those are my EDC. I do have some in my collection but not for real use. Does this mean I have to get more s to conform better? (Da...
