Do I need to say more? I have always found tantos to be hardy versital blades, fixed or folding. If you really want a fixed for EDC for possible defensive use and this tanto seems too large look at Masters ...

The Snap-back worry is why I haven't tried this on a larger <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>. Just the Ladybugs, and extreme care when letting the <img src="spyder.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> return up its web.

That is how I use the cord on my Dragonflies. And I do agree about the falling and not being able to loose the knife if you need to. But most times I have used my Rescue I really didn't want to risk the knife leaving my control. Also you don't have to tighten the noose if you don't want to ...

I see a lot of you mention the hangman's noose, but it seems you just have the knot only. For my Rescue (and others) I use it the other way around so it can make the lanyard more secure. (see pic)
