Re: Me New Motto Mates!

You're right, it is intentional. I don't understand why people don't realize that not everyone gets an exclusive/sprint; only so many are made = not everyone gets one. I missed every single Rex-45 sprint yet I didn't complain because that's life. Do people not realize that Spyderco is literally the...

Re: I really hate wanting a discontinued knife

I try very hard to stay forward facing on my purchases since I know there will always be something new that will capture my interest.

The one exception was I bought a second Gayle Bradley Air because it has been spot on as an office-friendly EDC.

Re: Opinions Wanted: Top 5 Best Spydercos

I've owned many Spydercos over the years but only a few have stood the test of time to still be in my collection. Over the last 2-3 years, my tastes have changed to where virtually everything in my collection is under 85mm blade length. Not it any particular order... Gayle Bradley Air (an underappre...

Re: Bombshell Flash Batch

I think there will be plenty to go around at MAP $280. Didn't the Lil Nilakka take a while to sell out? I grabbed one with an ebay 20% coupon last year. Not sure how I feel about the Bombshell. It's short and stout (or chubby depending on your point of view). It looks like it will be thick in the p...

Cruwear DLC with Forest Green G10

It's a bit aggro for my taste, but I'm sure it will sell out quickly.

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

The scales are solid rosewood, they're not laminated. :spyder: We will see if it is solid rosewood which is very restricted to import and trade, requiring CITES documentation and other types of permits or the same old Pakawood with dyed laminated mystery wood, labeled "Rosewood" due to it...

It visually looks the same. What was the point?

I was expecting something more noticeable like the reground Nirvana.
It has a very detailed custom HT and is stronger and more stable now.
This is an honest question... What is that statement based on? Was testing done before and after?

Re: BladeHQ M4 Jade Dodo

I've never understood the blade / handle ratio obsessed. It is bench racing. Folks more worried about how it looks on paper then how it performs at the track. Agreed. I also don't understand ad nauseum harping on the "golden ratio" (no more than 1oz of weight per inch of blade), and lack ...

Same here, the comp lock action has been perfect on mine. I can't imagine how it could be any better. I've beaten the heck out of it and it just keeps going.

I'd love to have a lightweight Lil Native comp lock.

Re: Para 3 fades into the sunset.....

I jumped on the para 3 sprint bandwagon in 2017 and 2018. Now I am still stuck with 5 of them. Already sold a bunch. Since I got my Police 4 LW the para 3 is seeing no pockettime at all. it’s way to small for my taste now. I have more use for larger knives. Interesting how that can shift in a short...

I agree. Sure it was a cluster, but it's just a knife. I've missed out plenty of times but I don't grab my pitchfork over it.
