Re: s90v SHAMAN IS OUT

Question for those who have received their Shaman S90V. Mine arrived today. This is my first Shaman and I have a question about the action when closing the blade. All the comp lock Spydercos I have when I fully depress the lock bar the blade essentially falls shut. With this Shaman I received, when...

Re: s90v SHAMAN IS OUT

Just picked one up on ebay from whitemountainknives. I received a promotion for 13% back in ebay bucks which comes out to $36. That made it a no brainer for me.

Re: Don't get cut with a ffg blade

Are you referring to cyanoacrylate? Tissue adhesives like Dermabond have been available for 20+ years.

Agree preventing the accident in the first place is the best policy. Would you care to share how your accident occurred as a lesson for others?

Every time I need to use my Lil Native I'm reminded why it continues to stay in my EDC rotation while others have come and gone.

Re: What's your favorite Spyderco that's a little bit of a "hidden gem?"

For a small EDC hidden gem, I really like the Lil Nilakka. It has a bit of a retro look and is perfect for a number of light-duty tasks. I carry mine regularly. I wanted to really like the full-size Nilakka but it was just too bulky in the pocket. https://cdn11.bigcommerce.com/s-20b20frsxz/images/st...

Re: Ikuchi - fantastic knife!

I ordered through KC too, was on the short list, it was delivered in 4 days. I agree totally with you, it’s a great knife. It’s something really quite different from Spyderco. I flipped it so much when it came my index finger got a bit ripped up from the flipper wheel. Beyond that, it’s a superb de...

I would kill for a super steel DF2. DLC M4 please, or even a black handled Salt Lc200n DLC.
ZDP-189 isn't super enough for you?

Re: Who else is getting an Ikuchi as soon as they are released?

Received a pair of Ikuchis today. I realized within a few flips that my index finger was cut open and bleeding. The culprit appears to be the sharp point on the back side of the flipper wheel. Both of the ones I received are like this so I assume most are this way. Maybe it's my soft office hands b...

This thing is still in stock at DLT if anyone is looking. Definitely a solid $130 purchase.
Looks to be out of stock at DLT now.

Just received notice in stock at DLTtrading.
Looks like they have just over 50 available. Hopefully there will continue to be more inventory coming available at other retailers to reduce the secondary market pricing.

Won't know what you have until it's in your hand. Good price if it's real and fortunately with Prime, returns are easy.

Re: Lil native

I sold mine because I'm waiting for an exclusive, but it was a well built knife and seemed plenty tough. My one complaint was the lack of jimping. On a small knife where I can't get my whole hand on it the jimping helps those forward fingers stay put. I wpuld love to see them CQI this and add spine...
