I’ve been kind of snobby about sticky with autos for a couple decades, but I really do like the GWS G10. And the solar atomic G-Shock I got 2 yrs ago.

Re: Show your Bugs and Critters

Speaking of rat shot, the Bug A Salt is fun. https://www.bugasalt.com/products/bug-a-salt-yellow-3-0 I had one of the early versions. They shoot table salt and are effective against soft insects but it merely annoyed wasps which was what I really wanted to shoot. Then I discovered the Bug Blaster a...

Kicked off my morning with Electric Sheep! Perfect scent for Florida heat. I wonder if it has insect repellent properties? I’m willing to try 🤣

Re: Show your Bugs and Critters

I thought the dwindling of their numbers last year meant they were gone, but nooooo. The Joro spiders are back and all over the frickin place. You can't look at a shrub or tree and not find 10 or 50 of these guys. They are huge there webs are even huger. God forbid you do the unthinkable and walk t...

Re: Show your Bugs and Critters

Anything that could wipe out fire ants would be even worse for the native environment. That doesn’t mean some fool won’t try something… we’ve all seen that sci-fi movie. Gotcha ! So any insecticide used would have a negative impact on the environment. I once read after WW2 when they tested nuclear ...

Re: Knives With Rounded Spine

There’s a difference between deburing or just breaking the corner and a full bead-blast melting. I despise the melted look as an aesthetic, it hides all the poor workmanship. There are some applications where the melted look has an advantage such as ease of draw or stowage. I prefer lines that are s...

Re: Who's in for a Cruwear Endura?

I’d give the Endela a try but the Delica pattern is too small. Worth having one to carry places where you can’t have a longer blade though.

Re: H1 Steel Only :)

Now that I’ve finally learned how to sharpen SE, I’m much happier with it. But I also want to try a PE H1 for an opposite end of the spectrum steel (as compared to my usual preferences like M4!).

Re: I’m interested in a D’Allara Salt! Anyone else?

I think this would be an awesome salt! I voted Magnacut but would take any steel in Hollow Ground SE. I think the color FRN needs some input though. I was thinking navy blue or gold to match John D’Allara’s uniform or shield. This is still a special knife that need to be treated as such. I was just...
