Re: KnifeCenter CPM-CRUWEAR Native 5 with smooth black G10

Mine came in yesterday and it's great! I actually like the look of the smooth G10 much more than expected. I also picked up a BNIB oldschool G10 Native 5 with steel liners and an S35VN blade. I plan on swapping the Cruwear blade (and backlock) into those scales and liners and then having a set of A...

Re: KnifeCenter CPM-CRUWEAR Native 5 with smooth black G10

I picked up two. ETA is Monday. You must have the magic touch... I ordered mine within 15 minutes of release and it hasn't shipped just yet. :( Here it is. It's absolutely perfect. And if you're hesitant about the smooth G10, stop. It's absolutely wonderful, and it doesn't tear up my pants. https:/...

Re: KnifeCenter CPM-CRUWEAR Native 5 with smooth black G10

Any chance someone here knows if the blade (and backlock) from a linerless G10 Native 5 can be swapped into a G10 Native 5 WITH liners? Yes, they are swappable. I have moved around my G10 and lightweight FRN Native 5 blades into different frames like it was a 70's swingers party, the only issue I'v...

Re: KnifeCenter CPM-CRUWEAR Native 5 with smooth black G10

I was all set to pick up the Cruwear Delica, but I was a little hesitant because I prefer a wharncliffe with the Delica frame. Then I saw this and couldn't resist! I sure wish it had steel liners though. :( Even without the steel liners, I'm thinking a set of burlap canvas Micarta scales will like n...

Re: Cru-wear Delica

No way am I going to be able to resist this. What an unexpected and wonderful surprise! A little birdie told me it was going to be priced just under $100 too. We’ll see if that holds true. $94.22 as Spydergirl88 previously posted. Which is retail price minus 35%. From my phone I can type "coming so...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

DLT has Reward points also. Thank You SD. Those extras certainly add up in this hobby. After a bit of clicking around, it appears when I created my original account at DLT, that I failed to also join the loyalty program. :o A separate step that I don't remember having to do at KC. But with DLT you ...

Re: Z-Cut Spyderco Food Prep Knife in BD1N!

Really, really hoping for a 12" version over here, I know too many people who like giant sourdough loaves. There aren't enough long bread knives in this silly world of 9" wooden blocks. Fillet knives and bread knives... For whatever reason, I found people rarely agree on the best length for those t...

Re: KC Exclusive Ladybug

I've got one sitting in my cart as we speak... Just waiting for someone to confirm whether or not a blade swap can be performed with a ZDP-189 or VG-10 version.

KnifeCenter wasn't sure and I'm still waiting to hear back from the Spyderco warranty department.

I’d buy one. I would like to see some real thought go into the sheath.

Kydex would work for me ... is likely going to get wet.

I think a perforated nylon or Kydex sheath would be awesome. That way you could just spray it off after use.

Re: Would anyone else have interest in a Spyderco fillet knife?

Over the years I have realized that people have different interpretations of what it means to fillet a fish. Ah, that makes sense. This isn't the first time I've been confused in a fillet knife thread, lol. A serrated fillet knife confuses me. Wouldn't the teeth want to catch on bones? Using a sawi...
