Oh Caribbean where art thou?

I try to buy most of my spydies directly from the Golden Kingdom and I haven't seen either version of the Caribbean in stock in at least a year, is there a CQI update happening? I know it wasn't that popular but hopefully they aren't discontinuing it

If spydies had babies

If you could combine your favorite features from your favorite spydies, what would they be? I think a native with a ball bearing lock from a manix would be interesting. Maybe a lil native with the blade of a chappie?

Re: "The one"

I think I am close with the Native LW, but it doesn't really come in any of the flavors of steel that I like. No Cruwear, 4V, V4E, 3V, 52100, Rex45, or M4. Any of those in DLC would be potential game changers for me. The Native Salt will probably come close until some of these other steels make it ...

"The one"

What spyderco did you buy that made you question the reasoning for all your others? Different occasions call for different blades of course, but did you ever find one that you think could be the one that will stay in your pocket for the rest of your life?

Re: SFO and what to expect

Was there today. Got to handle the Lil’ Native. Great knife. I prefer my Rhino but I can see all the love the Lil’ Native gets. Outstanding small knife. You can easily spend an hour there looking at knives and the other displays and chatting with the people who work there. And you will run into a f...

Re: SFO and what to expect

Since you mentioned being interested in the CF Chap, I’ll say if you’re at all interested in the Raffir version, visiting SFO is a great way to pick one up. When I was last there in Jan, Charlynn and Candy both helped me pick from about 10 in stock, and I got to ensure a sweet pattern. Regardless, ...

They will regrind your Delica but you will likely have to leave it there. I doubt they will do it while you shop.
Yeah that's fine with me, now I HAVE to buy a new knife while I'm there to get me through the rest of my journey. Darn :)

SFO and what to expect

Hey gang, Long time lurker, first time poster. Sometime in late August I'll be making the journey from the mitten to Denver. Of course one of my first stops will be at the SFO where I can finally decide between the Chaparral cf or native 5 lw (salt of it's finally out by then). Has anyone been there...
