There is a new colour "Explode"(yellow with two red and black lines in an helical form)
That would seem ideal with that Ladybug?

As a fellow collector in the UK I have used Cutleryshoppe.com on the few occasions that HeinnieHaynes,Mindyourfingers and Handyniknaks do not have the knife (or knives) in stock. With the discounted prices on CS(up to 44% off) I have been aware the cost is about the same(even with the Customs and Po...

You can put any knife in your check-in luggage. You do not have to declare to the customs that you have a knife in your suitcase. You are correct it is illegal to carry a knife in the UK with a blade over three inches and having any sort of a lock. A Terzuola is a good suggestion it will cover you f...

The Vallotton is most definately NOT a flick knife.
I would speak to her supervisor as she is not interpreting the the rules correctly.
Ask if they can put in writing where is the button, spring or devise on the Vallotton?
It is a folder for Gods sake!

It is a beatiful knife. I really really like the knife but I have been discovering other knives that really intrigu...

If you are going to weld,I would advise you to protect the blade with a damp cloth and only spot-weld on either side (To keep the annealing in the blade)
Welding would seem the way to proceed being the cost of shipping as you have said.

I would have to vote a few: Shabaria Persian Civilian All have sexy sinewy curves that are beautiful AND dangerous at the same time. Nothing beat sexiness and danger combined. Like a drug the beautiful things in life keep you coming back for more, even if you know it might be bad fo your health.......

What about the Spyderco "Stretch"(Original)
Flat ground and "solid" in its build.
You could put your brothers initials on it (it has a stainless handle)
Check it out.

I have just checked http://www.heinnie.com have the Spyderco Persian in stock.
It is a UK stockist.
I don,t know if it would be cheaper to buy of them, with the postage, than E bay?
Good luck in your quest to gain the "ultimate" knife.
NB(A rather heavy EDC,if you are used to a Millie!)

My Caly Jnr,always on my person or very near by.(Along with my current EDC)
It was my first Spyderco and it led myself on the LONG road to find another blade that compares to it.(I realise that is only an excuse to increase my collection)

Any sane person will see that dealer has an axe to grind with Spyderco.
Millions of people have bought a Spyderco knife with no complaint.
I have used their products for many a year and I have found the Spyderco company to have an excellent reputation.
