Re: Native Chief CTS-XHP on the fence

That Manix2 is a beauty! Really like those scales . Found one on eBay , the price was scary . Just curious what were you doing behind the waterfall ? Biology project maybe ? thanks! it's my favorite knife. the only thing i don't like is the pins, which is why i want to grab up a g10 manix so badly....

Re: Speculative 2022 Discontinued List Discussion Thread

i never looked at the rhino or the brouwer before seeing they might disappear forever. it's a shame when that happens. the rhino looks like a cool little knife, but the brouwer is more interesting to me overall. the esee zancudo is such a great knife and the brouwer seems like a higher class and hig...

/ Actually I have guitarist fingers too.. but even more so climber fingers, a bit of a weird combination... ; nothing weird about that! So we're in the same camp (yotu also guitar&climbing)? i used to climb a little, but it was a hobby that i had to sacrifice, so i never really got into it. i d...

Re: Speculative 2022 Discontinued List Discussion Thread

nice. thanks. i'm gonna be in trouble when i get a brouwer so soon after the chef and mule. 😬 in my defense, i only just found out about this knife. Just FYI there are 2 versions of the Brouwer. The original has clip holes that allow the knife to stick well out of the pocket. CQI version corrects t...

if it helps set your mind at ease, here are a couple shots of my xhp manix getting wet. the first is in the rain and the second is under a waterfall, both in hawaii. https://i.postimg.cc/2jdFsxqN/B6-FD44-A5-1-DCC-4-D5-C-B6-A8-A545464-DAB88.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/BQqc41DL/E2192-CEB-ED68-4213-8-ECD-...

Re: Native Chief CTS-XHP on the fence

people say it's like a stainless d2. it's stainless, but seems to be just under s30v in my experience. i've dealt with rust on both and it wiped off of both relatively easily.

Re: Native Chief CTS-XHP on the fence

i had a spot show up on my xhp manix, but i was able to wipe it off easily. the spot was on the part of the blade that you can barely see in the cbbl cutout, so something had made it in there and not been cleaned. haven't had any issues since and have never had any issues on the exposed blade. i agr...

that was stressful and terrible, but woot!

Psychology says you'll value your MagnaCut more, because you sacrificed to get it!
it wasn't really much of a sacrifice. it was just a frustrating process. hopefully, i'll enjoy it more because it lives up to the hype. ;)

Hey LB, mission success? success! hence the woot. :) i'm looking forward to trying my first mule. i've had chances at some of the past miles, but wasn't interested in them until it was too late. i wasn't going to let this one pass if i could help it. i eve...

Re: MT35P - CPM MagnaCut Mule Team - Release Date

Now I wonder...After all this and people that scored after an hour or two of trying...how many will actually provide some feedback on use and sharpening in the Mule Team subforum?? I'll put money on less than a handful :disappointed i plan on using mine as a regular fixed blade. unfortunately, i do...

Re: Mule team - preorder

i've thought about how it would be nice to have a quiet release to forum members or a way to give active forum members guaranteed orders before the drop. realistically though, that's just going to bring a lot more people around here that don't really want to be here and the vibe on the forum will go...
