Good find, Doc. I have yet to own a hawkbill, but have been looking.
"Me too" on the Tasman.
Actually, I did once have a tiny hawkbill, overpriced at $2.00, made out of CPM-butterknife-F. :D It still worked well when sharpened hourly, but the blade was gone in a week (serrations in two days).

Another request for a holster, here... :o
I am paying off a Gunting and should have it within two weeks, if all goes well.
At the knife shop I'm buying it from, the guy didn't want me to put it in my pocket, well OK, I can see that someone might do that and run off. I pulled out my three EDC's, and ...

In my RF pocket is my re-serrated Endura, it would be the quickest to get to.
Of the other two, Native RR and Delica LF, I would choose the Native for SD.
When I pay off my Gunting, I'll have to learn how to use it; as "just a knife", I'd rather use my Native.
OT: How many here have bought the ...

If it was FRN, regardless of blade steel, I'd open it up halfway and put it in the dishwasher; oil the pivot. I never had any problems doing this.
Now. I wait for a job (day or two at the most) where I have to adjust rotor heads, the ones that shoot about 30', and just blast out the whole knife ...

Life without a Dremel would be, well, not much fun.
From re-serrating my old, worn Endura, to polishing feed ramps, to helping a friend make his dentures fit better, to cutting master locks off of peoples gates when they loose their keys, to making key copys work that didn't, to cutting rounded ...

JD, believe it or not... Wallyworld! About $13.00, Lowes about $18.00. I've seen em online, but shipping usually boosts the price above even Lowes.

I'm on my third Nite Ize Pockits in about 4 years. It carries my gerber multi-tool, mag light (lately I've been carrying a screw/nutdriver and in the lower pocket-a set of bits including torx instead of the maglight), adjusting screwdriver (sprinkler nozzles), drip punch, and in the back, a sharpie ...

Impulse Buy, yikes

After all the talk about the Gunting, I found one at one of the most expensive places to buy a knife (the price is probably why it is still there). So, after trying the kinetic opening and luckily only poking myself in the leg, I him-hawed for a while. 25% of the price, including tax was $45.00, I ...

The discussion of fanny packs came up several times on a CCW related forum. The black fanny packs were said (by some of the LEO's on the forum) to scream "Gun"!
One suggestion that I thought was good was to sew a patch on the FP that said "Sony' or anything that made the pack look like it held a ...

Tortoise, does this extend to other occupants of the vehicle, or just the driver?
I was one of the people who told a second hand account of someone refusing to exit the vehicle to be searched (a passenger), being arrested, and winning a settlment as a result.. Now I'm curious...

Lets see, for general improvements, switch all of the black clips (at least from golden) to the coating used on the FRN Native. It seems to be much more scratch resistant.

I think some knives should still have a black clip, but I think the bead blasted clips are very nice. Even on modles that dont ...

What David suggested might work. I find it easier to to "admit" to making a mistake when I have a purpose; in your case- getting your Delica back. If I'm wrong then I don't need a purpose, I just apologize. I hope this works, that is, you being able to find the cop, and it being in the right setting ...
