I’ve never heard of MRS-30. I’m curious how it compares to VG10 or something like k390?

Well, if superblue is out, then I vote for HAP40.

I'd be down for another Japan made fixed blade. My vote goes to SuperBlue, but I'd like either k390 or HAP40 as well.

I hope we see a sprint of the Street Beat some day too.

I like the Military 2 quite a bit, but my thumb still instinctively reaches for a liner lock every time I go to close it. I will buy any Military 1 sprint. I like the idea of one in Maxamet, k390, or MagnaMax.

Rex45. Hands down. No question.

I just think the handle is really, really comfortable. I would like to see the SB with a thinner blade and/or in k390 like the Enuff 2 (which is another favorite).

Oh man, this new review is making me think about picking up a new SB LW as a backup or perhaps to replace my current EDC.

I'm a little bit disappointed to see that Maxamet is being discontinued. I wonder if 15V or Rex121 will take its place or if those are just a sprint.

I agree with all of what you wrote. I have the same clip placement issue on the Native 5 LW when having it configured for tip-up carry. When switching the clip to tip down (ew :nauseated), the clip lands ...

I'm pretty sure that Eric said in one of the videos that they intend to do the full Golden line-up. I think the rest of them are probably going to be sprints though.

I love this color, and while I'm not interested in another G10 knife, I will absolutely buy this in a LW model.

I have to agree with zhyla; I can easily shake open a manix LW as well, and I just tested it out to confirm. But then again, I picked up a sturdy back lock and shook that open too albeit with significantly more difficulty…so maybe I’m just some kind of abomination.
