I've loved the Street Beat for years. It's my favorite small fixed blade design. I have two of the micarta handle ones, and I've been put off by the FRN handled Street Beat LW, but after this thread I think I'm going to buy one and give it a shot.

I think I would pass on this one. I'm not much of a fan of the kephart design.

I'll wait for the para 3. PM2 I've tried 2-3 of them, and I just don't like the way they fit me.

I think an OD Green Cru-carta Military and Denim Micarta K399 Military would be awesome and quite popular. Hopefully Spyderco will expand their Micarta offerings into their other Golden models soon.

Ever since I got my first military (BHQ M4), I've been wanting more. I'd love to see a Cruwear w/smooth black G10 from KC as well, but I was just looking at my k390 para 3 and it got me thinking about how awesome a military would be in this combo. Anyone else agree? I know plenty will disagree solel...

I think we need a Knifecenter exclusive Military in CruWear with smooth black G10 handles. I'd buy two.

I wholeheartedly concur with this. Also, I think it makes the knife ugly.

I'm going to say none. I have no interest in the button lock, and I haven't bought a smock simply because of the button lock. IMO the compression lock is perfect the way it is, and if more models were updated with a button lock I'd stop buying them too.

I'm always up for more Street Beats, but honestly I'd much rather have one in M4, K390 or CruWear than a stainless steel.
