had 3 of them back in the day traded one years ago for a lens. i can show you the parts of whats left of the other 2 so of the few they made i know for fact there are 2 less (wass a fantastic EDC)

i carried one of the G10 for a few years in the Marines and your right about the packign a lot of knife punch in a feather weight package (the flute Ti tho strikes my strings)
dare i say it the only thing one that woudl pluck harder the heart strings would be a CE walker or comp lock CE Vesuvius

just read the email and im wandering what the issue is with making the color right. my only guess woudl be that the coolent used while milling is some how keeping the phosphate from reacting properly at voltage. ano. Ti is not too hard so long as the parts are clean. maybe i ll pick one up and see

i have found round here that much more then med roast ends up well past jsut blackened :) and i dont put a thing other then coffee and water in my cup means i dont want a burnt bean :)

aeropress for me too i have the SS filter but i get more grinds then i want in my cup (i hand grind extra fine) so i use the paper filters (i do wash then out once or twice tho and reuse) i get my beans local that are nicely med roasted and i can get many flavors or house blend but i like the plain ...

as far as the rodent its a chippmunk (ground squirl to some tho) looks liek a 5 strip (i had to get ride of many of them round the old house as they kept geting in and running around)

well ordered the orange and the purple delicas and then since i was there got a DMT dia fold sharpener to update the ones that are in my back pack now. now i jsut got to wait till the box shows up :)

just got the OK from my better half thzat the delica is good size and not too aggressive (while having jsut the right amount of pointy tip )
i might be having to order liek 3 of them tho (kelly caries one of my customs now and then but worries about hurting it)

one of the things he will be using the knife for is wood carving like stuff at scouts so the flat grind should be ok (its not liek he will get to carry the knife all all times and use it as he pleases yet )

i still have my first (frn clip endura ) clip long gone so it the tip and all the teeth(was SE)

im leaning to the orange delica or maybe a native lightweight (plus side for both is i can get one in pink or purple for his little sister too (to give in a year or 2 )

one thing is it time for a spyderco but not brake the bank. i was thinking about a delica he is 9 a boyscout and loves orange after he is good with this knife he will get to come out the the shop and make his first custom folder i started with an endura but i thin thats a bit much for him rightnow

i too found it "chunky" and was not a fan of the pepper on it tho it i though witha slim down and a bit of profiling on the handle it woudl be a great knife. i am a huge fan of the comp. lock

i think for sure it woud be worth the wait as its a sexy knife. 2 things tho. are the scales 1/8 thick then fluted thinner or are they over sized and then milled? i woudl rather see the lock bar thinning on the outside of the handle rather then have that hump interrupt the flow of the scale. i think...

water bug thanks for the feedback i have got a bit of flack for how large my handles are but i do make sure to balance the knives so that the blade is lively and fun to use the edge on the blade is from a 9 micron belt and then stropped (the belt is jsut about worn out so im sure its finer then9 mic...

at one point i had 3 of the cx06 walkers and they were great knives they were made befor the FRN and CF ones were produced then they kind of were forgotten till a few sprints were produced a few years ago
