Was the rookie a tip up or tip down knife? I only ask because I've seen both. Were some made tip up and tip down? Or did people customize their knives?

Could I use WD-40 on my knife or will it ruin it? What kind of oil do you guys recommend to use?

Why are some kopas numbered and some aren't? How many do they number? I read somewhere that there were only going to be 600 made of each handlle material. So do they only number half of them or something?

I emailed some guy who is selling a G10 Rookie on ebay and asked if it had liners and he replied saying it did not have liners. So I guess some were made without liners.

Did the G10 Rookie have a steel liner? I've been looking for one but wasn't sure if they made them with steel liners.

Did the G-10 Rookie come lined or unlined?

Anybody here know of any good places to find spyderco knives in los angeles? I have yet to see a spyderco in a store. Are there any advantages between tip up and tip down type knives?

Does anybody know how many different kinds of Calypso Jrs were made? How many different materials and blades? How many different colors? And thanks to john f jensen for his quick service. I ordered a knife from him on saturday and received it on tuesday. I highly recommend him.
