Re: Yojimbo Love?
IMG_1244.JPG I opened up the handle by the forefinger to fit my mitt a little better and it made a world of difference. I also bit the bullet and did a regrind on it. Removed the "thumb riser" as my thumb sat in front of it anyway and gave it a more "yojimbo1" shape to the blade...

Re: Yojimbo Love?
Hi Blueeye, I sure like my Carbon Fiber S90V version :D As to "Other Warncliffe's" While Mike is an advocate of the Warnie shape, his designs are far more than "just another Warnie". I'm sure Mike is following this thread, so this is the place to share thoughts with him on your ...

Re: Yojimbo Love?
Lightweight version? Sprint run steels? Personally, after a few slight mods, I LOVE my Yojimbo2...... I've been searching for years for a Yojimbo1 and by god one day I will find one. I EDC my Yojimbo2 everyday and would just enjoy collecting and having a few variations of it to interchange. I tried...

Yojimbo Love?
So the first Yojimbo came out in 2005, the Yojimbo2 in 2012.... It's been 7 years, can we hope for a Yojimbo3?!? Especially with all the Wharncliffe love that's going around lately?

I’ve been searching for a DODO for years as well. Those that have them don’t part with them easily.

Re: Para Military 2, Spyderco’s “Sweet Spot”
I love my Para but I would have preferred the military model but I am a tip-up carry kind of guy and the lack of that option is a deal breaker for me. My hands are on the bigger size so an Endura with g-10 scales or a g-10 Police would be my perfect knife but til I get one of those two the Para will...

Re: Blade Steels..... Does It Really Matter?
Perhaps I need to broaden my horizons and try some new steels? My local shop has a Para3 in the CPM S110V steel and the awesome blue handle that may need to find it's way home with me.

Re: Blade Steels..... Does It Really Matter?
Blade steel does matter depending on what you're doing with your knife. Cutting stuff. All of my knives are users and I edc 2 folders or a folder and a fixed everyday. I also carry a victorinox cadet but that’s mostly for the nail file. I don’t use my blades as pry bars or screwdrivers but I do cut...

Blade Steels..... Does It Really Matter?
I’m probably going to get the touch and pitchfork treatment for this but does the blade steel make that huge of a difference? I bought my first Spyderco.... a Endura 2 stainless with an AUS6 blade.... and carried it for years as an EDC, steak, and everything else knife and it performed well. I’ve ha...

I believe one can be a collection if there is desire and intention to get more.

Re: **** Enablers!!
Up here that’s not the case. The Yojimbo was $189 on sale for $169 and the Ronin was $129 on sale for $113. Only reason I bought both, I’d gone in initially to buy 2 Yojimbos so really I saved money. Lol

Re: Help me build out my spydie wishlist
In my opinion no Spyderco collection is complete without at least one Endura or Delica..... Must haves.
