Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

- Living in the imho most beautiful city on earth that millions of people would like to just visit one time
- Sourrounded by the best mountains I know
- And last but not least: Carrying a Spydie I like more than I thought I would and that probably even is among my ...

Re: Mourning for the brick and mortar stores

My experience at brick and mortar was always pretty negative. This was mostly at gun shops. Poor attitudes. Unhelpful, confrontational. Talk down to you. Lack of understanding or care that you want something other than their favorite or suggestion. I’m sure there are some good ones out there ...

Re: Salt 1 or Delica 4...GO!

[quote="Evil D"]I must be the last guy on Earth who prefers the older style handle over the Delica 4 style. It just fits my hand better. I rather like the simplicity of a linerless FRN knife. I think it really comes down to 1) steel preferences and 2) clip orientation, since you're stuck with tip up ...

Re: An alternative combination edge

I've thought the same way. Serrations at the tip for slashing and plain edge for other stuff. But I wouldn't grind do my own knife to see if I'm right.

Re: Show your Delica's

Wife came down stairs and sees me looking at computer and says "what are you doing?" you say just looking at pictures and she runs over and flops down next to you thinking she's caught you looking at porn. She says "Looking at knives again! You're so weird." I wonder if she would be happier if it ...

Re: Local Cutlery Store..Good and Bad

Only have LL Bean that I've seen Spyderco's sold in blister packs . So I tend to do Knifecenter for my spydie needs. Once I used ebay and didn't confirm he address and sent a Delica to my brother. He said thanks really loved it, so I didn't ask for it back.
