First, you need to check to see if knife manufacturer will ship repair back to state you live in and directly to you. Second, ship the knife via FedEx or UPS and not USPS.

If you want this type of config, buy a Microtech I've come close but their serrations pale in comparison, and I don't think I could trust their mechanism as much as I can the Plunge Lock. The serrations on their D/Es are not the greatest. On their S/Es, I’d put them up against any SpyderEdge. Their...

If you want the OG gentleman’s knife. Go with the Gayle Bradley Air (C159GFP). By far, the best one ever made by Spyderco for that purpose.

How soon everyone forgets about the Tatanka (C180G). A blade length of 5.05”, an overall length of 11.55”, and a closed length of 6.5”. I’ll put this up against a Police SE/PE any day.
