Re: Swayback Lookout Thread

Having bought this to add to all the Spyderco Slysz knives, including the Bowie, I am also underwhelmed by the Swayback especially for the clip which looked to be an after-design thought. If you’re a Slysz fan and have the other models, add this to round out your set and ride the Slysz price appreci...

Scales are not H-1. They are SS, however, Sal has never specified exactly what type.

Mariner Salt - C120P and C120S

One of the greatest knives Spyderco made was the Mariner Salt in H1. While I have a number of the SE ones,
I finally managed to obtain one of the rare, Japan only, PE model with original box. Superb workmanship like the SE and a great addition.

Re: How do you purchase an autonomy?

Autos are also legal to carry where I live with a concealed carry permit. Not sure why a CCW is required for carry, but there you have it. As far as I know, you can buy one, just don't leave your property with one. What is strange too is that you can buy and carry an assisted, but not an auto. Haha...

Great knife! Spyderco did a great job with the steel and the new scale pattern. I added a deep carry clip

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?

So how is the backlock performance on the Siren? Does it rival the Native, or exceed it? I’ve read the Native is the pinnacle of Spyderco’s backlock. I'd be interested in this too. While I am totally fine with the performance and function of the Endura family / Pac Salt backlock, the Native backloc...

Re: St. Nick's 4v pm2!

The only problem I have with their "digital line" is the fact that it seems to be first come first on the back-end regardless of you being in line and in the middle of the check out process... I have dealt with other systems that reserve inventory for say X minutes once you begin the check-out proc...

Not a nice and easy check out!

Ordered and in my cart, literally punching in CC info and sent; informed that item was sold out. Pathetic. Lost a customer for good.

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?

I'm sorry to hijack this thread with my issue but I can only imagine other lefties will likely deal with this as well. The post on the chicago screw is just firmly stuck inside the G10. I have NO idea how to get it out. I'd really like to be able to reverse this clip. It shouldn't be this difficult...

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?

I'm having a hell of a time reversing the pocket clip on mine... I can't punch out the other side :(:( Any tips anyone? EDIT: Never had to struggle this hard to reverse a spyderco clip :( its like the pin on the opposite side of the clip screw is loctited in. Still can't get it and not sure what to...

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?

Lance, The pictures of it “in the wild” look awesome!!! I’ve been wanting a back lock, so this is extremely tempting! How do you recommend closing the back lock in the Siren since it doesn’t have a foward choil (Chief) or a forward ricasso (Delica)? Looking to avoid getting a cut with one handed cl...

HOLLOW ground Endura?! Or just looks like that on the pic?
Michael Janich custom Endura or “Jandura” as they’re called.
