I got mine unexpectedly a few days ago and I really like it. It doesn't devalue the OG Spyderco PITS, but is something quite unique. Good work!
I have two questions, maybe someone here can help me?
1. is it known who makes the knife?
I've had a few Spyderco knives from Maniago and although I ...

Re: Spyderco x Lamnia exclusive - poll
I am open to several possibilities. I have the least desire for a slipjoint. If it does become one, then I would like a variant of the HH UKPK, i.e. with a continuous back spring or a completely new slipjoint. I could imagine a fixed. e.g. a special version of a Fred Perrin designed knife.
But ...

Re: Reveal 10 Live!
The UKPK has a new pattern for the serrations. It gained one big "wave" and lost a part of the PE at the tip.
What pictures are you referring to? Comparing the catalogue pictures both have the same number of big "waves" (6) and the same number of small waves (5 doublewaves).
When you ...

Re: Slipjoint mod Para 3
Very interesting design....have you done anything similar for liner lock designs? I'm guessing the technology would not be terribly different. In any case, awesome!
I don't think a mod like this is possible on a liner lock. This mod fits into a cutout for the compression lock that doesn't ...

A Böker employee recently confirmed that Amazon's warehouse just stocks all items together regardless if they are Amazon's stock or that of dealer a or dealer b. Even when you order from dealer a you might end up with a knife from Amazon or a knife from dealer b. As long as everybody sells legit ...

Old "little white spider on black circle" letter logo - how long was it used?
Hello,
I wonder how long the old "little white spider on black circle" logo was used on the "letters" that are included in the box when you buy a knife.
Up until recently I thought that they changed the logo to the "big fat black spider without a circle" logo when they also changed to the red ...

Re: Uk Penknife Maxamet?
Gray FRN & Maxamet sounds good to me. If it's G10, then I hope it uses the current split spring NOT the older full length spring. There has been a lot of interest in bringing back a G10 version, but the older full length spring makes it very difficult to change the clip and/or reassemble . I ...

Re: Knife laws in France, Italy and Spain
Just a SAK has prevented me from being allowed into historic buildings in France and Italy.
Yes. Some sights have a pretty high "security" standard / have very strict security. That's why I hinted at the price. I personally "got rid" of a Victorinox Spartan during my last trip to France. It ...

Re: Knife laws in France, Italy and Spain
Peter, do you think if a tourist were using one of the locally-produced knives, such as a Spanish Navaja, or, a French Opinel, for say, picnic making, like sandwiches and bread and the like, they would not likely have a problem?
In all of these countries it totally depends where you go. As soon ...

Anyone sell on Instagram?
How? Facebook (technologically) isn't a good price for selling but Instagram has to be even ********. AFAIK all you can do is post so most of the time only your followers will see that you want to sell a knfie. Don't think that will work to well for guys (like me) with ...

I just wanted to ask them for a tracking number but then found out that the "Standard Shipping" for £6 indeed doesn't have tracking. Only the £29 "Next Working Day Delivery" option - and I was to cheap for that.

When you order from Heinnie to an EU country and chose Standard Shipping you won't be able to track the parcel, right?

Are there any pictures of the back / spring? I'd like to know if it has a short spring as the lightweights UKPKs or a full spring that reaches all the way to the fourth screw...
