Re: Delica Black Blade?

Dear NDWoods: The Delica 4 Lightweight is available with a black blade, but it is saber ground and partially serrated. If you prefer PlainEdge, the Salt 1--which is basically a Generation 3 Delica--is available with a black PlainEdge blade. H-1's edge holding in PlainEdge is not as good as other st...

Sharp Guy,

I know several people who live in Popular Grove. It has has a spike in population over the past few years. Was there a couple of weeks ago because the family wanted to go to Edwards Orchard.

Re: Clipless

I wear dress pants for work. I recently took the clip off my Delica and pocket carry it for work. It’s nice and thin and not too obvious. A knife clipped to my pocket would unfortunately look too out of place for work.

Re: Clipless

I recently started carrying my Delica without a clip. I wear dress pants for work, and wanted to start carrying the Delica because it’s so thin and disappears in my front pocket. I had been using a nice slip joint but I like the idea of a locking blade.

Re: Which Endura

Both are saber combo edged. I’m curious if anyone prefers the 3rd generation to the 4. The 3 has a barrel clip and the 4 has the four position clip like the Delicas. Just wondering if people have strong preferences for one over the other. Jase, nice Wharnecliffe Delicas. Ok, that makes sense. Could...

Re: Which Endura

Well I traded for the gray Endura 4 today. He made the decision easy...he was only willing to even trade for the 4 , not the 3. He must prefer the older version. The only sign of wear is slight scuffs on the clip. I handled both and preferred the clip on the 3, but the 4 fit my hand better. Just lik...

Re: Which Endura

Thanks for the replies. Hopefully they’re still there tomorrow. I saw them on Friday when I picked up a couple of knives he sharpened for me. He offers free sharpening of pocket knives and does a lot better job than I can. I wasn’t thinking about buying then but have had a weekend to kick myself for...

Re: Do you think the delica is still relevant?

Most of the people I know that carry a Delica just want a handy, generally useful knife that sharpens easily and doesn't immediately lose it's edge. Most don't own a bunch of knives and couldn't care less about about the newest, bestest thing on the internet. It punches way above it's weight class,...

Which Endura

My local knife store just got in two used Enduras. Both are partially serated.. One is a black 3 with VG10 and the original spiderweb box. The other is a gray or brown (can’t remember which) Endura 4. I want to go back and pick one up assuming they are still available. They both are used but in grea...
