Re: Fake Rubicon? now sold

Judging from the pictures, it looks very off indeed. The flipper doesn't look shaped like it should be, the carbon fiber isn't there in the handle etc... Also, the PIG described a different knife.

The last thing I did? Playing with a Li'l Temperance while watching 'Better call Saul' on Netflix ;)

Re: 1st spiderco

I'd echo the suggestion to invest in a Sharpmaker, or other sharpening tool of your choice. From the knives, you're considering I'd actually suggest to get the most affordable one and use the heck out of it. That, combined with the sharpening experience, will give you an important advantage when you...

Re: Li'l Temperance 3: A (not so) li'l review

Thanks for the insightful review zuludelta! The Lil' Temp, and by extension the Temperance fixed blades, is one of my favorite design patterns. I squirreled away a back-up version of the LT3 when it was announced to be discontinued. I have patience and look forward to the lightweight version Sal men...

Spyderco Amsterdam Meet Prototype Pictures

We all know the Amsterdam Meet got canceled, but I did take some prototype pictures...to test my mobile photo studio. I only use it once a year for the meet, so I set it up at home first for a few test runs to see if everything works. These are the result of that test. I guess in a way these qualify...

Re: Any longtime users of the G-10 Stretch 2 (ZDP-189)?

As a sidenote, I personally think the G10 handles make the knife feel a bit thinner than FRN. The ergos are still great, but if it's a beefy handle you're looking for I might stick with the FRN.

Such a great knife, but it's big brother is the reason I don't like linerless G10 construction.
This one's actually aluminum.

I also regret these circumstances and I think Spyderco made the right call by canceling the meet. There's always next year!

I carry pretty much all of my spydies IWB, except for my Ladybug which is connected to a victorinox classic SD that fit perfectly in my watch pocket.
