What kind of tool do you use to modify a blade in that way? Please elaborate.

After being into pocket knives for a few years now I've got a good idea of the "ideal" knife that I'd like to have and it's basically the endela haha.. I'm sure I'll be buying it in many steels and colors

i like how the saber grind follows the line of the handle scale.. but thats all i like about that knife hah

I threw my wallet at my computer when i saw the endela. looks to be the perfect size and the little bit of extra belly will be nice as well. I'll take 8

micarta scaled anything.. especially with M4 or a nice non-stainless steel. i love stained dirty micarta and a nice patina on a blade.

right now I carry a delica to work and an endura on the weekends.. I'm hoping the endela will take the place of both of them

had the stretch 2 for a while now but i never really liked the ratio of blade to handle or how shallow the blade sits in the handle. i ground down the part of the ...

it would have even less belly than it does now.. thats my problem with the endura

really wish they would have used thinner blade stock on the para.. it would have made it even lighter and that was a big part of the appeal with the bugout for me (which i assume this is competing with)

welp found a good deal on a zdp stretch and cancelled my order.

so much for my theory that theyd start dropping every 2 weeks. i had a camping trip in september and was really hoping i'd have my stretch before then.

oh yeah that looks rough.. its kinda cool though.

all done. went over it one more time and changed the shape a little

I think I'm going to pick up a sheet of micarta and try to make some scales. I've got some plans to acid/stone wash the blade eventually also
