Re: Send in a knife for stonewashing?

IMHO, owning knife that doesn't go in the pocket would give me some anger >:[ I would customize it to allow me to use it. Tho, if it is a sprint run that you wanna keep pristine for the sake of collection or resale value, it isnt an option. Stonewashing woyld knock off those sharp corners and add s...

Re: Send in a knife for stonewashing?

Sean, I was literally thinking about doing this exact thing to my S90V Shaman. Did you ever stonewash it yourself or send it into the factory? Kris :bug-red-white Hi Kris, No, I never did anything to my S90V Shaman. I remeber calling the Golden factory way back when I made this thread, and was kind...

Awful drop, hust like the DLC Shaman. I'll be skipping every KnifeJoker exclusive henceforth. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Im sure most people have probavly gotten whatever blade hq bundles they wanted by now. But... they have a respect and opus bundle for $389. Which is actually $3 under the new map price for the respect. So basically the opus is free. They also have a yellow serrated pacific salt for $65, if you are ...

Re: Is it possible to convert a BBL to a CBBG?

Thanks for the reply.

3D printing a proof of concept might be doable, as a couple of my friends are 3D printer codemonkeys. I'll touch base with them to see if we can make a working model.

Is it possible to convert a BBL to a CBBG?

I have both the D'Allara 3 & the Q-Ball. There's a lot to love about these knives, but I have the hardest time operating the ceramic ball bearing lock. One of favorite designs is the Manix 2, of which I own several. I find that the cage on the Manix 2 makes the operation a breeze for me when ope...

Re: Where are my posts?

Hi Kristi, I attempted to post a topic in the general discussion about 8 hours or so ago, and I can't see that my post is pending in the control panel. Am I still stuck in moderation purgatory or should I just try posting my topic again? When browsing forums, I'm always a lurker. I'm usually relucta...

Send in a knife for stonewashing?

Aloha Sal, I'm a huge fan of your Shaman series knife, and I recently acquired a sprint run S90V CF Shaman (it's fantastic!). However, I really loved the smooth stonewashed finish of standard S30V shaman blade and clip. Is it possible to send my S90V knife to Golden, CO and request a stonewashed fin...

Re: Shipping of internal parts

Wow.

Personally, I have no interest in ever purchasing replacement parts. I completely understand Spyderco's existing policy.

However, I think it's very admirable of you sal to open this topic to discussion/consideration. You and Eric keeping doing what you do, because you folks are the best.
