Re: Native Chief blade play when closed?

My S90V Native 5 had the same issue and it took a fair bit of fine tuning to get the looseness out while keeping the blade from being too tight. It is a very slight turn to go from too tight to loose. I did put thread locker (222 Purple) on the pivot screw and once I got it tuned, I left it alone o...

Re: Native Chief blade play when closed?

I'm sorry.... I just got frustrated for you! I took out my S90V Native Chief and pushed and shoved the blade everywhere to see if I could replicate what you are seeing. I am interested in helping you. Yes, when the knife is completely closed, I can FORCE the tip over to touch both scales. But I wou...

Re: Where to sell knives

There must be a decent sized fee for all of that though. There is. It is 20% I think. But if you have safe queens, sprint runs, or rare knives you may mark them up 20% or more because of their rarity and you get back what you put into the knives. That is what I did. Now, not all of them sold for 20...

Re: enuff 2!!!

I like knives. You like knives! :winking-tongue I think that I have 4 fixed blade knives between 4 and 4.5 inches, 3 fixed blade knives under 2.5 inches. I think I'd like to have two of Enuff 2 in K390 . I don't have any K390 and the shape and size of the Enuff 2 is almost perfect for an EDC for sel...

Re: Where to sell knives

I can’t seem to get access to the spydie swap Reddit group anyway. Knife swap is a pain in the *** with their rules. Guess I’m gonna have to go back to eBay. Ugh. It's just me, but AZCK is the best for me. They get your knife, make a web page for it, have an interface for you to raise or lower the ...

Re: Martial Arts Experiences Discussion Thread

I may have figured out what ails my shoulder. Supplements! I take a lot of them and just stopped MK-7, which is vitamin K2. I'll stop taking it for a month and see what happens. It allegedly strips calcium out of veins and transfers it to bones. After the 3-way bypass in 2017, I wanted to see if I ...

Allegedly Norman Schwarzkopf said, "The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war." The folks losing in these combative sports competitions are better than 90% of the street fighters out there. Besides, win lose or draw it is fun to get in there and do it. Agreed. One thing I hav...

Re: Knife Center Personal Data Leaks

I received a new debit card last week because someone of impeccable character tried 7x to charge $250 of my money on a sports betting website. The absolute worst thing to be legalized ever, but politicians gonna politic to line their pockets and dummies gonna be dumb to bet on sportsball. Cant say ...

Re: Native Chief blade play when closed?

It would be much appreciated if someone from Spyderco could throw light on this issue. If it needs to be fixed, how to do it properly (tightening pivot screws doesn't help much). If this is 'by design' on some examples, I just want to know if I can use the knife safely and that the blade won't star...

Re: Native Chief blade play when closed?

What I do to draw right handed is stand left foot fwd, and slightly crouch and aim my left shoulder at the target while simultaneously drawing (almost) with both hands. Keep the folder or fixed blade at your hip toward the rear. Don't expose the tool. It need not be a knife, it could be a roll of q...

He opted out of prison and commit suicide. What a coward. The poor woman's son even witnessed his crime... Google, "Matthew Gyuang, Tonya Holzmayer, Mountain View, PPD." Some stories are still online from 2002. Cheers. I found this nugget : But Holzmayer's friend, Roninson, said Huang was...

Okay y’all, I’ll explain… I posted a thread in the wrong section and moved it within seconds, probably before anyone saw it. Then I come back to a dozen comments, and I decide to add a pic referencing the circle game. Naperville apparently wanted to provoke the situation with some insinuated aggres...

Re: Knife Center Personal Data Leaks

When they ask me to make up responses for the security questions, I use the password manager to create the fake 20+ character responses and I record what the response is for account recovery. That's genius, I had never thought of that (only started to use a password manager in the last few months, ...
