If they can figure out a solution, it may change all knives.

Re: Need input on knife desing

https://live.staticflickr.com/1943/44360695605_940fb444d5_z.jpg IMG_1006 by Last Scratch , on Flickr I am not a swedge fan. I would say either round the spine over so that it is super comfortable for finger placement, or leave it sharp for use as a scraper for a ferro-rod fire starter. Either way, ...

Re: ROCK JUMPER - Mr. Janich's Opinion for Yojimbo's Backup

Julien Viapiana, My comment has little to do with the Rock Jumper or Yojimbo 2, although they are fine knives. I have a few Yo 2's myself! This comment is slightly off topic. Have you seen the movie "A Grande Arte" also known as Exposure? It was filmed in Brasil! There are some bad copies on YouTube...

Re: Wharncliffe's

I have 4 Wharncliffe knives, 3 of them Spyderco. I like them. I have been meaning to get a YoJumbo, but haven't had the funds available quite yet. I've been buying vape juice and donating to political campaigns whatever little money I've had....but the YoJumbo is MINE. I'll soon have the funds. The ...

Re: Webex with Sal and Eric?

Not sure about video conference, that would be next to impossible with 50+ people. But Twitch/YouTube livestream with chat, that is doable. I responded: YES. Let's see where this goes. Nonetheless, I agree with the statement above: Twitch/YouTube livestream with chat is the easiest. There is no way...

Re: Knife categories

I have a pretty large collection and I add to it every year. $20k and counting. I'd leave it to my nephew and niece but, I don't really know them all that well due to my brother having a divorce. If all fails, I'll leave my collection to the USMC. They would not be able to get the knives that I have...

They should do a Shaman in 204P and make a million of them. I'll take one.
Even if they’d make that many I doubt they could keep it in stock for longer than a few minutes.

Columbus and Magellan, the Gemini and Apollo Astronauts that performed the first space walk and landed on the Moon, Jacques Cousteau, and in 15 years those brave souls that dare it all and travel to Mars! Re: Fire Starting Gear

When a pine family tree dies and the bulk falls off, look for the standing stumps. Knock off therotted outer wood and the wood inside is soaked in pine resin. It has a distinct smell, and if you break off small chunks it lights directly from a lighter. One stump can easily net you 20+lbs. Thanks Vi...

Re: Para 3 52100 CE

@Menipo US customers pay a premium for some knives that are made in other countries. I ordered a custom dagger from a South African bladesmith and then waited 6+ months for the knife rather than have it shipped to me from SA. I got lucky and the bladesmith was attending the Blade show and he shipped...

Re: Fire Starting Gear

I've gotten lazy. I've found over 25lb of fatwood locally over the past few years and haven't even gone through half of it. I split a few chunks off with my knife and light them with a bic. I must be an expert at using a ferro rod by now. I've watched more than 500 YouTube videos on the subject and...
