Re: Remove Loctite from G10

Methylene chloride is the solvent.
Google that in the USA.

What POKEY said is a good suggestion...use more Loctite, and that might clean it?

Re: Salt 2 LC200N... Is this Normal

No offence to anyone in this thread, but we have access to so much knowledge with the InterWebs, that we are becoming a species of overthinkers, methinks? :)

If Sal gives me permission, I can show the one off Tee shirt I did for myself a few years back.

Re: What Spyderco has surprised you the most?

Tenacious in 8CR13MOV Lots of edge for the design, flat grind that cuts well, and the steel is easy to sharpen. A touch up with a ceramic is all I really need when I use it for cutting of small twigs and all sorts of cordage, natural and man-made. I will be using in a a hour or so cutting up half a ...

Re: Try this at home. New sharpening method.

This does not work with Serratas, as these pesky micro serrations will not allow themselves be smoothed off on the one side... :D

BTW...I applaud the efforts taken by all folk looking for something new in edge reforming, and as Sal said...

The clip is strange, and the pivot is a removable one... I am thinking that it might be a "liberated" proto that Sal might be ...

Re: Why are so many people concerned with perfect blade centering?

I have a Serrata that came out of the mold slightly bent, and lots of grinding the blade made the blade look straight on the spine, but off centre at the edge nearest the ricasso. the thickness is around 3mm, versus 5mm of the "normal" ones... I called it "Rhomboid"... It is mine, and the slight til...
