Re: Para 3 lightweight

Pretty certain I am not the first to fawn all over this one, but received mine yesterday and I would take it over any other Para 3 just because somebody finally put the lanyard hole out of the way (know few Spydie fans who actually use a lanyard) and mounted the clip where I feel it should have been...

Re: Techno 2 Timeline

Just picked mine up this morning. Beautiful knife and I much prefer the blade shape to the original Techno. I do not care for the placement of the wire clip. It sits too high on the knife (ala Positron) and is definitely noticeable in the hand. I modified a deep carry clip for a Leek and mounted it ...

Re: Pick a favorite out of these 5....

UKPK gets the most carry time, but the venerable Delica or the Native 5 Lightweight are close seconds. All three carry small and are lighter than most three inch blades. Own A Hap40 Caly 3, but it’s mostly a shelf queen due to weight. The Para just takes too much room in the pocket for a three inch ...

Re: Urban k390 vs Urban Elmax corrosion resistance.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I am going to go with the Elmax variant. The N690 is a great option also, but I am looking forward to the racing green handles on the Elmax.

Urban k390 vs Urban Elmax corrosion resistance.

Hi, Have an urban K390, but looking at one in Elmax because of it being stainless. During the summer, and when running, I carry the Urban inside the waistband of my shorts, where it is subjected to my perspiration. I will be cleaning the blade with water and a rag every other day or so. I used to ca...

Re: Final Four

Small - Leafstorm (Techno 2 may unseat)
Medium - Caly 3 or most any Delica
Large - Endura
Fixed - Still carrying the one my grandad made for me in his workshop over 50 years ago.

Re: The Vrango folder

Aware this thread has been inactive for a while, but I wanted to give a my thoughts as I just picked one up. I had hesitated purchasing until now because of a couple of negative reviews online and the price. Well, I finally pulled the trigger at close out pricing and I am glad that I did. The pros: ...

Re: Any hope for a Leaf Storm sprint run

I very much like the C22 Walker and would be another exciting sprint run. I freely admit my favorites are little big knives, which include the Leaf Storm, Techno, and to a degree, the Lil Native and the C22. The Leaf Storm is special because it was the first (I believe) to use titanium handles, fram...

Any hope for a Leaf Storm sprint run

Hi, As the happy owner of a second hand Leaf Storm, I would really like to see it make a comeback. I also have a Techno and while the fit and finish of the Techno wins, the Leaf Storm is a better slicer due to slightly thinner blade stock, a better piercer, thinner in the pocket, and sees more carry...
