It appears I owe you an apology. I assumed spyderco had some sort of awareness of the knife market and the prices on other models from the same maker....... apparently not. I have seen a lot of price gouging regarding limited runs like this and made the mistake of grouping you with all of "the...

Just got mine, the quality is superb, the liner lock snikts into place like a bank vault. Think the wizards at Spyderco did a wonderful job with this one.

Not a hunter so the paw prints don't bother me, I use it as a general utility knife and I find the ergonomics to be ideal.

I carry a variation of the Swiss classic on my keychain, has a little magnetized screwdriver. Great little tool, can't tell you how many times, I use the scissors or tweezers. Course always have a Spyder (old Standard usually or Delica in my back pocket) for bigger chores.

Wow, so many insanely nice knives. I love the Terzuola slip, and the Rock Lobster looks like another winner though I'd prefer to see a micarta handle rather than G-10. More winners from the big S.

Anyone use their Micro Dyad?

I am a huge fan of anything Spyderco but have to admit that the only Spyderco that I've found disappointing in recent memory is the Micro Dyad. Paid around $90 or so for mine on the bay, the red bone version. Was a bit surprised at how small it really is. Quality is still there but at that size, imh...

quick and dirty pic of New Lum

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v348/dvc73/watches/IMG_0848.jpg New Lum, beautiful knife. I should have wiped it down better, was drenched in lube when I got it. Wiped it down quickly with a cloth, before I took a pic. Lum logo is on the backside, more discreet than its predecessor. http://img.ph...

Got my 2 in yesterday. Beautiful little knives, torn between using them and stashing them away. If subsequent Lums are VG-10, these could be worth a pretty penny not too far from now. One did have a copious amount of lube on it.

Momma, what a beauty!
:) I still kick myself for not getting one, kept thinking I'd be able to snatch one up a little less pricey on the secondary market, yeah right. Talk about investment cutlery. I think that one has the chance to be the first $1,000 Spidey a few years down the road.

What a beauty, wish I had the cash. Went for a nice bit of change but surely the rarest of Spydies.

I say we need a return to normallicy and get rid of all the homosexuals and bisexuals. Return to a survival of the fittest society and watch evolution and natural selection weed out what doesn't belong. Get rid of them? Where? In camps? That's some pretty vile stuff you're spouting. I guess you nev...

It's a great gent's knife, fit and finish are top notch. The tolerances on it seem a touch above other Spydies, when you close it, the thunk is like closing the door on a Mercedes.

It's the custom version of C-65 the Lum Chinese folder, awesome piece. BTW, Blade seems to get skimpier every month, mostly just a propaganda piece for custom knives. They don't seem to do any real testing anymore just tons of articles on how reasonable $400 folders are and which maker is hot from t...
