I've got the same question about the Bradley and hope there's confirmation of the "closer to 65" reading some time this week. I'd be very happy if Spyderco's tests also show somthing close to 65.

I don't have a micrometer but mine feels pretty thin at the edge.

I'll use it with the factory edge grind for a while and then give it a session with the Edge Pro when I get the time.

The build quality is very impressive.

I read elsewhere the Rc may be as high as 65. Good!

I think the OP is asking about preserving knives rather than lubing pivots, but I could be wrong. I used Tufcloth for years to preserve knives I store in my safe. Never saw any rust. I used Miltec I for years on pivots -- worked well but didn't last all that long. About a year or so ago I switched t...

Garageboy -- I'm leaning toward dropping the hammer on one with my economic stimulus money. I understand what you meant when you asked "could I survive" -- you didn't mean out in the woods Les Stroud style lol, but get along in NYC. I can see how it would overcome the "gravity knife&q...

NGK is #1, but I've also had good dealings with knivesplus.com and knifeworks.com.

For about a year, though, the vast majority of my purchases have been from the local knife store, River's Edge in Columbus, Ohio. Great guys.

I prefer Miltec.

I'm undecided as to whether FRN :spyder: s even need lubrication.

Thanks for the review -- I'm glad you're happy with it. The Delica packs a lot of cutting power into a relatively small and very light package at an affordable price. FoM -- get the Sharpmaker soon. It's a great tool and will help you get the most out of your :spyder: s. It's even fun to use (for me...

I got an Endura more than a year ago and had to call to ask the same question. They told me that they were VG-10 and that's what they sent me.

Comet on a wet sponge. You might want to consider moving your sharpening operation to the kitchen. I recall reading on one of the forums that the Sharpmaker was designed to be used at the height of the average kitchen counter. Having tried it on various tables I agree the kitchen counter is an ideal...

I have one and so does my wife. But, I have no experience with it - thankfully. I got mine for about $7 at the local knife store. James Keating, who designed it, has a website devoted to martial arts/self-defense. I don't have a link handy, but I think it's http://www.jamesakeating.com . As you may ...
