Re: Sharpening S110V
You don't NEED diamonds to sharpen S110V or any steel. I have sharpened almost all of them over the years and NEVER used diamonds. A good high quality Silicon Carbide Stone will work for reprofiling and then a Sharpmaker will take care of the rest. I have a stout 1095 CS becker for heavy use, so I ...

Sharpening S110V
I've been sharpening knives on oil stones for many years (my Dad came from a commercial fishing family, and he taught me at a young age). Over the years I owned many "cheap" folders, mostly USA made Gerber, and locally manufactured (Pictou, NS) Grohmann fixed blades. A few years back, I go...

Re: Loose Screws? Delica4 FFG
Happens on all black coated blades from spyderco the black material doesn't get traction to the clip and that's why it moved around order satin finish clip from spyderco and problem solved Thanks BFB!! So, just as I suspected, the three holes are larger than they should be, which surprises me, base...

Re: Loose Screws? Delica4 FFG
I've never had a problem with stripping screws, and I crank mine down pretty hard because I don't like when the clips move around. Just make sure to use a quality torx set to avoid stripping the head of the screws out, and press down (into the screw) with considerable force when turning it. As for ...

Re: Big-handed people, what's your favorite smallish knife?
XL mitts and the Delica4 is my EDC. I liked it so much, I bought a second one. The D4's big brother, the Endura4, has a great blade, but the handle profile (I.e. finger "grooves") needs more thought put into it, as it fails in comparison to the D4.

Loose Screws? Delica4 FFG
I just received my new Delica4 in the mail, via an online purchase. It is my second Spyderco, in three weeks..................yes, I have the bug. Upon taking it out of the box, I noticed that the pocket clip moves slightly, from side to side, so I presume that the three mounting screws are not prop...
