How are the Manix knives factory sharpened? What degree?
Maybe Sal can answer this? What degree is the Manix edge sharpened at from the factory? How is it done there in Colorado? Slack Belt? Stone? Machine?
It looks to me that the edge is at or near 25 or maybe 25.5 degrees???
Just wondering.
Thanks
J

Your going to like the Manix. Mine is CE version and I have to say a great knife. I generally do not like or carry lock backs but this one on the Manix has my trust. It will not fail. The thing locks up with a WHACK sound thats really cool. I always check lock backs for the annoying verticle play ...

Thanks for the info Sal. Its always cool to see what the owner of the company is carrying. I remember seeing Ernest Emerson at the NY show with a P-Sark Trainer model and a Commander.
Its also interesting when an owner carrys a regular model not some one off, or a super custome piece he made and no ...

I have to comment on this one. As a guy who has owned both Spydercos and Striders. I have had a Strider BT Fixed Blade since 1999. Great knife and it has done it all. Chopping trees, clearing stone and dirt, for a hide. Just a general all around knife it cuts well and holds an edge it is in ATS-34 ...

I know my Manix in S30V is not the same blade shape as the Military S30V but I doubt bone would chip the point off my Manix.
