Re: I think I caught SE fever

Before this thread loses steam I will reiterate that in order to be convinced of the great cutting capacity of the Spyderedge you absolutely have to seriously test drive at least a couple of Spyderco's SE models to get a serious feel for those serrated blades. Using is believing when it comes to Sp...

Re: The Next Delica

After seeing the St. Nicks Delica, one for the best upgrades for the Delica would be a G-10 version. :) The Dragonfly already has a G10 version, so I think the Delica is due for a scale upgrade. The Delica and Endura both had G10 options in the past, the thing is the G10 models from Japan ended up ...

Re: I think I caught SE fever

How are you liking the longer wharncliffe in use? I think alot of people are hesitant to get this model, thinking a nearly four inch wharncliffe won't work well. I've been absolutely pleased with mine :) I see we have some similar taste in knives. https://i.imgur.com/3r1A3Eg.jpg I am actually REALL...

I think I caught SE fever

Got my Endura wharnie SE a few days ago and have been having a lot of fun putting the teeth to use :D I am loving it so much that I ordered a Pac salt SE and Ladybug hawkbill soon after to round out the collection as well! I also have a Delica wharnie SE on the way as I type. https://i.ibb.co/x3K4tn...

Re: The Next Delica

It could possibly be a new model, but replacing the backlock with a comp lock would be sacrilege to some here :p

Sal has mentioned before that comp locks on such thin blades would be next to impossible because of the width needed to properly seat the lock as well

I would be super interested in this. Whether it is just another run of the old hawk or a new redesign wouldn't matter either way, I'd still get it :)

I have an Endura4. When I heard the original Pac Salt was being disco’d, I bought a second original... The E4 handle is just fine, as is the E3, but original Pac Salt as a whole is iconic.
When you said that the Pac Salt had been disco'd, I feared the worst... ;)

Re: Need help!

Thanks Wart. I am fan of the E4 handle, and have never found it uncomfortable either. I remember when the OG Pac salt was discontinued last year that many lamented the change over from the E3 handle, so I was just curious of the differences between them and wanter to hear some peoples opinions. I e...

Re: Need help!

Not sure how much help we actually can offer you, since this is totally personal preference and you´d have to try for yourself... I personally clearly prefer the E4 handle. - More comfortable (especially in "my" kind of grip: Thumb not on the ramp, but to the side of the blade, more in a ...

I’d say get the original if you still can. You can always get a pac salt 2 later...

More importantly, you’re getting a SE blade right?!
That's true, the 2 will be around for a while. Of course its gonna be SE! :D
