Maxamet is a cool steel, but I don't think if fits the Dfly platform, and it was hard enough for Sal to convince the Seki maker to use K390, and Maxamet is on an entirely diffrent level

I'll bump this as well. SE models have been catching my eye a lot more recently. I actually have a SE Endela and SE Endura wharncliffe lined up to be my next purchases, with plans to get a SE Delica wharncliffe as well, so a FFG SE Endura (and leaf shaped Delica) would need to be added to the lineup...

Endura for sure. Especially if it's a Wharnie SE!

I have no experience with either SE edges or AEB-L steel, but I am a big wharncliffe/ sheepsfoot blade fan so something along these lines would be pretty interesting.
