Yeah, a titanium Cricket, with either compression or back lock, would be a great little office carry!

Re: Any word on the Salsa?
I’d certainly be interested in another titanium Salsa (with Cobra hood), but in Magnacut.

I guess demand hasn’t dried up yet, but it does appear to be less intense.

Re: Black Linen Micarta instead CF/G-10 please
I agree, but I’ll also note that the polished G-10 on the Darn Dao is really nice. I’d love to see more of it.

Only one, but it was a Paysan, so I’m not complaining.

Re: Price increases for 2024
I've slowed down a lot as well, and have drastically thinned out my collection. I very rarely buy run of the mill production models anymore (although I just ordered an Emerson Dragonfly with the intention of adding Flytanium titanium scales) because they mostly bore me. I want something that's speci...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive...Slysz Bowie??!!
In its current configuration, that KJ exclusive is an easy pass for me at that price. Now, give us the original plain titanium scales and mirror stonewash Magnacut and they have my attention.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Well, as of about 20 minutes ago, I’ve got an Emerson wave Dragonfly on the way from DLT. I love the blade, but the plan is to put Flytanium titanium scales on it, because I despise FRN. Wanted to grab this one before the 2024 price increase.

Re: gray G-10 CPM-Cruwear... delica?
That would be interesting. I don’t care if it’s Cruwear or not, but I despise FRN, so the gray G10 would be a nice change.

Yeah, I’d love to see another titanium Salsa, with upgraded steel. More knives should have the cobra hood.

I’d like to see a return to the casual carrying of short swords.

Well, I hadn't thought of that, but yeah. That would be great, especially in carbon fiber or a nice (not green or brown) micarta.ZrowsN1s wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2024 10:07 amI want a Kris

Re: I don't give a #@$! about stainless
I honestly can’t tell any difference, whatsoever, in any remotely modern steels, as my knives’ “uses” never begin to approach the limits of their materials. I suppose I’m not a “real man” either (not that I care), because my knives are overwhelmingly pocket jewelry and fidget toys. I’ve never even c...

I'm only interested in seeing another custom maker collaboration, in titanium, from Taichung.

Re: 2023 - Did your preferences change or stay the same?
I wouldn’t say that my preferences changed in 2023. It’s more that a trend continued to solidify. I continue to, overall, prefer smaller knives, and primarily in titanium (I despise FRN and don’t seek out G10). I’m also not someone who’s always chasing the perfect user knife. Honestly, I rarely even...
