Re: What Will Be The First Magnacut Model?

Hat's off to you Larrin. I'm carrying a Manix with Magnacut. Very sharp. Took a beautiful edge. Also doing very well in our corrosion test tank, after 10 days. Gonna be fun. sal I don’t know if this means the Manix will be the first out of the gate, but if it is THANK YOU! :) Ditto, with feeling. I...

Re: What Will Be The First Magnacut Model?

I would love to see a manix 2 lw, and both the small and big enuff models. A rugged, workhorse little fixed blade in magnacut sounds epic (the mule doesn't really fit my big hands well, but I may have to give it another try for the magnacut version.

I bent the tip of my xhp manix lw batoning wood. I've put some serious chips in blades, but never broken one.

Re: Bow river sheath ..lefty

If you don't find what you're looking for you might want to check out the Esee HM series sheaths. Those are my go to sheaths when I get a fixed blade that doesn't have a lefty sheath. They're between $20 and $30.

Re: My EDC fixed blade carry method

This is great! I've been wanting to EDC my Esee Xancudo but was having a difficult time figuring out how to do it discretely in a way that didn't ride high (I really don't like fixed blades that ride high). I put a little loop of Lawson super thin paracord on it and now it rides really naturally on ...

Long shot question: anyone wear Russell Moccasins?

I'm not a hunter (yet) and not on any hunting forums, so I figured I'd ask here in case anyone has experience: I'm really fed up with paying $150 - $200+ a pop for good, minimalist waterproof hiking shoes and boots only to have them wear out or fail in just a few months. Has anyone used Russell Mocc...

I switched from carrying my urban to carrying my pm2 because I'm working from home now and don't need to have a little office knife

Re: Chaparral in Canvas Micarta?

This would be awesome. I like the Chaparral a lot, but I'm not in love with any of the handles yet. The LW Bi-Directional pattern is a little off to me, I may have bought one already if it was closer to the Seki FRN pattern. The others are a bit pricy. I'd love to see Micarta and a tool steel for $...

Re: Is spyderco currently accepting knives for repair?

I have a pair of knives I messed up when reassembling that I'd like to get fixed. Is spyderco still accepting knives for repair during this Covid-19 situation? Hi, blendergasket: Yes, Warranty & Repair is still open and accepting shipments for all of our services. There may be some slight delay...

I was surprised how easily it sharpened. I don't remember my urban sharpening that easily, but it definitely holds an edge.

Oops. This was the pm2, not the para3.

Hi Scott welcome and above all have fun. Food for thought STRETCH 2 . Make each day count.over and in . Out Bentoboxshop.com has the stretch in clad hap40 steel for $132. My 2 cents: native is smaller with decent ergos. Manix is bigger (big in the pocket as well as really big awesome blade) with ex...

Re: Carbon Steel Temperance 2?

Any time I spend more than $100 on a fixed blade I always end up selling it. I always become afraid and end up babying it. I like a cheaper, well made fixed blade (my fave is the Terava Jaakaripuukko) that I can wail on and not have to stress too much about breaking it.
