Without the blade and scale finishes of the original, this seems like it could be a disappointing re-release.

FYI, we are still working on solutions regarding the unlocking of the model. Some have taken a ceramic stone and rounded the edge of the lock-bar in the lock well.

Sal, I repositioned the leaf spring a bit on my CF/G-10 Chaparral, and it's much more comfortable to use now.

I love seeing this release. The Sage is one of my favorite Spyderco designs, and I think one reason it doesn't get as much attention as the P3 is the lack of steel variety. Great to see Maxamet on a Taichung model.

Sal, an integral would be interesting, but I’d love to see a button lock. If the button compression lock can’t be worked out, it would be great to see a Sage 6 with a plunge lock, a traditional button lock.
