I just ordered mine through KnifeWorks for 97 bucks total. I can't wait to get it and cut some beef with it.

Not sure why XL versions cause people to post negative feedback. I'm not in favor of negative feedback.

1) Most people don't have massive hands and these knives typically cater to a smaller population of the knife community

Going on 4 months since I preordered the Mantra 4…

It's a Mastercard protected card and I placed my order on the day this thread started.
Plus, it's my second checking account, for online purchases only, mostly.

I'm kinda nervous because my debit card was compromised last week and I went to the BladeHQ site to update the payment method and now don't have any way of knowing the status of this pre-order!
I logged in and there's nothing in my history of putting a deposit down.

I ordered 2 today from Knife Center. It showed I Stock but when I paid for them it says one item in backorder.
I wanted to give one to my niece but just noticed that they don't have locks.
Beautiful little knives though.

I've had plenty of "lower end" models that were downright perfect in fit and finish, so it's not always the high end stuff. That said, the one that always comes to mind for this topic is the Vallotton. So many pieces, so much machining and finishing, there are a lot of opportunities to screw ...

I like plain edge for fine "office environment" deployment. SE for difficult, rough cuts like rope, cardboard or other "outdoor" cuts. I carry both.

Why? Because all those pictures are feedback for the counterfeiters on what they're doing wrong.

Coaching them on how to improve wouldn't be prudent.

They provide you with a wide range of authorized dealers. Don't search for deals on Amazon or eBay and stick to the ADs.

That's unusual. I would think they were going for the deeper, more defined look.

I’m not super into the white but it’s a nice blank canvas if you want to dye the scales.

If the blade is thin enough, I might keep it white. Kinda like a quasi gentleman's knife/edc.

The white g10 is what got me. I pre-ordered it from BHQ.

113 is one of our collector's club numbers and the 'V' is for variant. We originally had six collector number when the club started, but were persuaded to give up two. Our numbers are 60, 72, 112, and 113. We received four of every knife that Spyderco makes.

Yeah, I saw that, then the other knives and I was like: "What in tarnation?!"
