It may be worth noting that not all of Gayles knives are in m4. In fact, I don’t think any of his fixed blades are in m4. Even the nightstick is in s30v. So I don’t see why using a different steal would be an issue. But, seeing that they cant even keep the m4 ones in stock, spyderco doesn’t really ...

After seeing others with the lanyard tube issue, I was shocked to notice that my example was doing the same thing! Not really a huge deal since it was a simple fix, but at the same time it kind of is a big deal considering the price.

Just to to offer a little perspective of when it might come out, the frn native chief was announced something like a year or so before the military 2 and we have yet to see that come to market. I feel the m2 is still pretty far out from production unless they bump it up in the queue.

Are you able to measure the thickness behind the edge bevel for both knives? I should be getting my Cruwear Stretch on Monday but I’m curious how thin they are leaving the factory. I love thin slivers, and the Cruwear Stretch XL seems to fit the bill well.

It will be very interesting to see how these will sell. I am a big fan of this combination but the price could be the downfall of this knife. The price just does not compete with anything else in the models category. We will see. (I ordered one, btw)

I have Military that has detent play as well. I’ve decided to ignore it but if there is a simple fix I would be interested in fixing it. It’s the only knife I’ve ever had with this issue.

Only the military and pm2 currently have dedicated left handed models as far as I know
