Re: Dyad Jr. SPY27 Release
Mine arrived Friday.
It’s a gem of a knife. Really liking the cobalt blue FRN.
One of those models that I missed first time around that just called to me.
So glad I got one.

Thanks for posting pictures.
That is an impressive knife.
I really like the detail in the bee on both the knife and sheath.
Congratulations again.

Re: I suggest we discuss a new forum knife
I like the UKPK idea a lot.
But I could also be tempted if it was a fixed blade like a coated SPY27 mule, in one of the new coatings, with red and black g10 scales similar to the pattern on the Bow River scales.

Re: Spyderco Sharpener Necklace
Lansky make a Spyder sharpener which is a 600 grit ceramic. It’s approx.3” long and has a triangular profile with two corners that are more rounded in profile, presumably for dressing the wider serrations? It’s got plastic caps and can be attached to a key chain. I keep one in my work bag.

Re: Surprised there isn’t an endela salt yet
A bit of an alternative to an actual Endela Salt would be if the Atlantic Salt (handle) came with another blade shape than "just" the sheepsfoot (see also "my" poll here https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?t=88094 )
This would spare Spyderco the costs for new FRN molds (which a "linerless ...

Fun Fact about the Gooney -

Also, you are correct to say the blade looks like the bill of a "Gooney" (also known as an "Albatross." ;)) That was the design intent ...

Re: Any Double Bladed Desires?
I thought a double bladed model knife combining the blades from the Clipitool Standard (C208G)and Rescue (C209G) models, with their lower thumb ramps, would have reduced costs and been a useful addition to the Clipitool range.
Unfortunately the Recue was discontinued.

Re: Laser hardening
That is interesting, it looks as if it’s surface hardening rather than full thickness?
It may have a place for lock faces and high wear areas on handles etc.
