One: improve the Spyderco Pm2.
Two: Exceed the speed of light.
One : add lightness
Two: it’s all relative :)

As a fan of the N5, I can't believe how good this one looks with the choil being masked by the snow. It's like you've created a new model.
I know the hand vs the eye argument. :D but still...

Re: A fixed blade in the future?

A Robin size and shape neck knife and/or a belt knife between the Meadowlark and Cara-Cara in length with similar blade geometry but 3/16th" deeper. Plain G10 scales ( black, coyote,od and orange) and BD1 please. :) Or bare bones like a mule with the buyer deciding on handle finish.

Re: Your top 5 Sal Glesser designs?

In no particular order. Stretch 2, UKPK, SPY-Dk, Dragonfly, Chaparral lwt.
Honourable mention's Polestar and the byrd line up.
For me all of these knives just fit.
I'd love to see a byrd 'Stretch' ( The Ostrich?). :D Although I understand why we probably won't.

Re: Dyad II or New Concept Double Blade Folder?

Good news about the Dyad.
Going with the New concept part of the post. Would there be any interest in a similar knife using the blades from the larger clipitools, standard PE and Recue SE?
A 'value' or ClipiDyad' for want of a better term, :)

Re: Which Spyderco fits you?

UKPK, Chaparral lwt, Stretch 2, never tried the 1st, and Sliverax. The Polestar is an honourable mention as I've only owned one for two weeks, but it is growing on me.
The Delica 4 doesn't feel as comfortable to use as the Salt 1 (Delica 3 ?). Not enough to stop me using it though. :)

Re: Sal's Casual Bombshell Thread

On the Golden Stone. On Cliff Stamp forum. :) Nice review from Nick. He's right, I do need o do a tutorial. We're working on a CBN version (Duckfoot Embryo) and a base to convert the stone to a 30 degree. When they are ready, I'll do a video. The actual design was created when the Sharpmaker was des...

Ballistol. Spray it on, wipe off the excess. Penetrates well. Good results... so far.

Posted this in the "What would you like to see from Spyderco" thread before I saw this one  In the absence of a choiled Delica ;) applying the 'no choil' feature from the Polestar to the Delica, where the cutting edge comes right back to the scales, may appeal to choilers and non...

In the absence of a choiled Delica ;) applying the 'no choil' feature from the Polestar to the Delica, where the cutting edge comes right back to the scales, may appeal to choilers and non choilers alike. :)

Re: Sal asks you to design a Spyderco.

Thinking about this some more, I would want a knife with a handle like an Opinel or Mora Classic made out of G10 or Micarta with a Schempp cant, a liner, compression, or mid-lock locking system, and a blade like the Lum Tanto or Gayle Bradley. Steel would be AEB-L/14C28N/Nitro-V/CTS BD1N for stainl...

Re: UKPK Drop Point vs. Leaf Shape

I have two UKPK's both are drop point. One BD1 PE and one GIN1 SE, I can't explain why exactly but they seem more "penknifey " in this blade shape. For me, the leaf seems more suited to lock-knives. Strangely considering the DNA shared by these models, I wouldn't think twice about acquirin...

I will be looking forward to the video, Jazz. 😉 You never know, providing I can get one in Canada. Most likely. It was your video that sold me on the original PE. :) I have been holding off on the VG10 SE since I heard the H1 SE announcement. Hope it's released soon, I have a birthday coming up. :D
