Manix Backlock?????
Well LC200N in a Lime/Neon green please.
A sprint salt version would be awesome! And green is so much better than yellow :)

Re: Post your Massdrop Native Blue Box mailfind
I got the plain old native LW. I will keep it of course because I not one to complain, but just a little angry about the S30v steel. I love my PM2 S35vn so much I bought a second to keep as a spare and if I don't lose mine the NIB one will be passed on to my son. I want a Native Salt but when the ...

Re: BHQ Para Series with DLC M4 /Jade
You can see the black liners through the scales more than the silver on the Manix 2. Which I like a lot.

Re: BHQ Para Series with DLC M4 /Jade
I just got one for the collection. It didn't tickle my fancy like the Manix 2 DLC run did. I think the black liners on the Manix 2 took it over the top.

Re: Knifecenter s35vn orange g10 Positron exclusive
I bought one a month or two ago because the price is hard to pass on and have been very pleased with it. The lock is tough to get to but I have big meaty fingers, and it doesn't bother me since its not a race to be able to close the knife. The polished orange g10 is awesome to look at and the size ...

The Gayle Bradley 2 is perfection besides the lock, should be a compression lock and for what i do, LC200N :)

The best value imo are the lightweight native 5. A good edc knife in s35vn for 87 bucks. That's a steal imo.

My ideal is a lc200n shaman. Here in Iowa everything rusts. A edge holding tough blade that doesn't chip or rust, sign me up!

Re: Blade hq dlc Manix 2 ordered!
I ordered 2 black blade today. I moved a couple weeks ago and forgot to update my shipping address in my Blade HQ account. So after I got my order in I called them to update my shipping. They told me they went on the site at 10:04 mst and sold out by 10:05 mst! I logged in at 10:30 cst and hit ...

Re: PM2 Or PM3
I prefer the para 2 over the 3. IMO the Para 2 is the perfect midsize edc. If I wanted to go smaller, the Sage 5 is much more attractive and the ergos are better to me. Plus the Sage 5 has a awesome deep carry clip and is great for what you would want a 3" or smaller knife to do. My edc rotation is ...

Re: Mantra 3 mixed feelings
The Mantra 3 will be my next spyderco purchase. The s30v doesn't bother me since it will be a office duty knife.

Re: If you could build your ideal Spyderco....
Well.. for me ,this would be perfection...
Take an original Kiwi as the start - scales would be Sambar stag, blade would be a good Damascus.. Add in a nice little exotic leather pocket pouch for it (ostrich? alligator?) and there you have it..
Now that would be stunning but I guarantee if had ...

Re: Steels: What Has Been Your Experience?
IMO,
VG10 is great for light duty edc stuff. It is kinda good at everything but not great at anything
BD1 I really like for office carry or fresh water fishing, it is good stainless and can take a wicked edge, but loses the edge quick on harder materials. Stupid easy to sharpen.
M4 is hard as ...

If you could build your ideal Spyderco....
Mine would be a Gayle Bradley 2 style knife with the blade in LC200N and a Compression lock. The Bradley 2 blade has been one of the best all around blades profiles I have ever had. It slices, is tough at the tip and with the scales, slim in the pocket. I love the M4, but for what I do, the LC200N ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
The past few days have been my s35vn PM 2. I usually rotate it between my Sage 5. I freaking love compression locks. I am looking forward to the Caribbean, a Shaman in s35vn or preferably LC200N and the Mantra 3. If the Mantra 3 feels as good as it looks, it will be my new office carry.

Lc200n Catcherman.... TAKE MY MONEY!!!!
That is a sprint that would sell out in a record I would think. I would buy 4. One to keep in a box, one for my dad to use on the bay, one for my brother to use out deep sea, and one for me to abuse on the muddy ponds :D

I like it but would live to see that scheme in a M4. A PM2 or PM with a dlc m4 blade I would be all in. Especially in OD.
