Re: Which should be the next model in Cru-carta?

Military - 9 votes vs. Para 3 - 0 votes. THIS is a GREAT forum! :) All that tells me is that the fans of the Military are starving for some love. I know the Military is supposed to be a must for Spydie fans but it's not for this one It's my favorite and most used Golden model by far. And you are ri...

Re: Cruwear Micarta PM2 Full liners

This opens the PM2 to a Pakkawood/other wood scale variants/Terotuf where the rigidity is not as strong as G-10, so it's not a big loss and probably won't eat up the standard G-10 PM2 market. Terotuf would be great on some of these knives with liners as you said. This PM2, Shaman, Native (older S11...

Re: Reveal 7 Live!

Hopefully this PM2 does well so we can have Cruwear production Para 3s, Manixes, etc in the future. I have a feeling this will be "regular production" like the Maxamet PM2 was. Dealers get them in, sell out instantly, we all wait months for the next production batch, dealers get them, sell out inst...

Kick myself for getting rid of my original straight spine Stretch so I’m definitely in for one in K390!

I did the same. Had one, let it go in major purge event, then missed it and found one of the last remaining ones at dealers. Really excited for the K390 version. It is such a great model.

Re: Reveal 7 Live!

https://youtu.be/OvtBU9FAdz0 Always a pleasure to watch Eric talk! He has an aura of warmth and genuineness with him always. And holy cow, Pakkawood Endela? Very nice! That makes 3 Endela variants already. Might add the Endela to my collection list. :D @31:35 in the video, Eric confirms that we wil...

I believe I remember seeing Sal comment somewhere that they intended to eventually offer a K390 Wharnie Delica. Or maybe it was just wishful thinking. :)

I think I saw this as well. I'd like one of these and an LC200N Salt 2 Wharnie.

And just like that, they appear! :D

Re: Z-Wear Shaman: availability discussion & lookout thread

Now we just need a Cru-carta Millie 🤞 This and the Manix XL are the two Golden models I want to see next. Then all of the Seki models... :D Another vote for the Manix XL, but I'd rather see it in 4V..... ;) It's coming, St Nick's will do it. Where it falls on the list and when it comes out is anyon...

We are SOOOOO close to getting a Wharncliffe Dragonfly Salt!

I'm guessing they will come in Reveal 8! LC200N Dfly Salts in PE, SE, Wharnie PE, and Wharnie SE.

Re: Reveal 7 Live!

Lastly, the new Roadie colors are awesome. Maybe we can thank Doc Dan for asking for more earth tones? ;) As I looked through it, I was thinking to myself how so many of those knives were requested by members here on this forum. I'm sure we're a fraction of Spyderco's overall sales, but I think it'...

Re: Reveal 7, a what now?

Honestly the Viele and Z-Max Mule were the only two that surprised me. All of the others we either knew were in the works, or could assume would be coming at some point. As a Seki enthusiast I really enjoyed this Reveal myself!

..and a Cru-carta PM2!? Holy crap. Looks like a production model, so good call there! Cru-carta Miltary and Manix XL in reveal 8?? :D

Re: Cru-wear, 1. K390 & 1095, 0!

You too!? I just dropped my K390 Endela on my foot opening an amazon package. I moved out of the way I thought, but it hit the bed and redirected it onto my foot and sliced my pinky toe. I have it all wrapped up with clotting gauze at the moment. Hoping a wound closure strip will take care of it. Bl...

Re: Spyder Classics: C-51 Rookie model

I'd probably grab an updated Rookie LW. A new G10 Rookie probably wouldn't sell well due to the ever increasing costs of Seki G10 models. A G10 Rookie would probably be close to $200 (especially in K390, maybe even more than $200) where an FRN would be a closer to $100 or less probably (in VG-10).

Re: Black Comprehension lock

This is excellent news. I'm glad Spyderco is planning to offer more models with coated liners. I agree. I have been asking this for a long time. Maybe they got sick of me whining about it every time a DLC exclusive came out. :D I wish this would have been implemented prior to the DLT Cru-ple PM2 an...
