I"D LIKE TO SEE A MANIX 2 LW BACKLOCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CG

Yes to this! I am hoping that the Manix LW Salt will be a backlock version which will eventually lead to a Cruwear Manix LW Backlock. I would buy both for sure!

Re: Endela or Manix 2?

i dont hate a spyderco lock, i hate backlocks. i am very proficient with them but also means nothing to me. i have owned tons of buck and kershaw and many other lockbacks including a delica and manbug. carried the delica for over a year because of spydercos philosophy about how they love lockbacks....

Re: Para 3 salt

100%. It's crazy to think otherwise. Just a matter of them working out all of the rustproofiness and finding capacity in production and room in the lineup. I'd guess 2021 will be the year of the long awaiting and much anticipated LC200N Para 3 and PM2.

Re: Hawkbill Uses: For PE & For SE?

I need to try my Matriarch in the garden. My only hawkbill knife is a Ladybug Salt. I am hoping to see a Toxic Green LC200N Lil Matriarch SE Salt and Spyderhawk SE Salt at some point. If the Spyderhawk could be upgraded to the Pacific Salt 2 handle that would be even better! Both would be great wor...

Re: Endela or Manix 2?

Last year after the Cruwear Delica came out I carried that pretty much exclusively up until the recent Teal Endura came out. Now I have been carrying one of my two Enduras almost exclusively. Sometime I feel like the Delica is too small, but the Endura can be a tad large for a lot of basic tasks. I...

Re: Paramilitary 2 Salt ?

I definitely believe there are Salt versions Manix, PM2, Para 3, and Shaman in the works. They would sell them by the truckload. They could probably open another factory in Golden just to churn out these 4 models. Just takes a while (a long while) to iron out how to actually make all of the various ...

Re: Tenacious Lightweight does it for me

Sal, if the plastics used in the Para 3 LW and Tenacious LW are indications of what future Spyderco LW will be like, I may never want to carry G-10 again! I was just blown away how good the new scales feel in my hands. This! I carry my FRN knives 99% of the time. The Endura, Delica, Dragonfly, Paci...

Re: Blacked out knives question

Correct. The Yojimbo 2 is the only Compression Lock knife with black liners. Stay safe, Mike Why exactly is this? Are we going to start seeing coated liners on future DLC compression and/or liner (ex. Military) lock knives? I am a bit OCD with this type of thing, so it really bothers me when the li...

Re: Tenacious Lightweight does it for me

I have a few G10 and now a lightweight serrated. Woohoo. Loving the new one. Plain edge coming soon. I'd be particullary interested in impressions on the serrated Tenacious LW. This one might be the most affordable, really good option for people who want to try out a spyderedge in rather thin ffg.....

Re: Spyderco 2020 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

Any news on the REC PM2? Yeah :) I’m setting my alarm clock for ungodly hours trying to keep an eye on that, if anyone has a heads up on it please keep me posted! We're all waiting. But it's mostly a matter of luck to get one. IMHO :) Or be a loyal customer. I feel like they probably give their "pr...

Re: Project Obsidian - M4 DLC / Jade dye project

Very cool, I've always wished they would offer semi-translucent Peel Ply G10 in a smoke color like this as well as semi-translucent brown, forest green, and neon fluorescent yellow (for Salts). I love the semi-translucent blurple, red, and jade G10 scales.

Re: Question for Dodo users...

Good choice JMM! I'm really hoping that BHQ will run their M4 Dodo in DLC with the SE edge. I've emailed them multiple times to suggest this. I've also been petitioning the guys at St Nicks to do a 4V SE Dodo, so hopefully one of these will happen soon! I think an Orange Cutlery Shoppe exclusive wit...

Re: Question for Dodo users...

Yes, I think SE is the way to go with these knives. The Dodo, Dodofly, Cricket, Cricketfly, Lil Matriarch, etc. SE is my preference for all of them. H1 or LC200N SE Salt versions of all of these would be amazing knives!

It's funny, the Kiwi 4 is the only Kiwi that appeals to me. I am big into peel ply G10 and wire clips though. Different strokes I guess. I'd buy a Cruwear sprint in a heartbeat.

I'd really go for an orange H1 Salt SE sprint run, similar to the Spyderhawk. It would sell like hotcakes.

+1!! That would be awesome! I'd also be all in for an Orange PE with TiCN coated Cruwear!

Re: Does anyone have a all black delica with straight edge?

I think they should 100% add blacked out FFG PE Endura, Delica, Endela, and Dragonflies to their standard production lineup. I think they would be big sellers. I'd honestly buy at least two of each, and a half dozen or so Dragonflies! I've been asking for these for awhile now. Love my new blacked ou...

Re: Salty Dodo

I think this could be great if it could be made with a cbbl rather than a bbl. The ball can be a bit of a challenge to grip and unlock with dry hands, and I'd imagine it could be very tough with wet hands. A cbbl would give a lot more grip, imo. Great suggestion to change to cbbl over bbl. Slick ce...

Re: BladeHQ M4 Manix XLs

Mine just showed up. This is the first Manix 2 XL that I have owned but the lock seems awfully difficult/stiff to unlock and the knife clicks while opening. Is this normal? I guess this probably was a return to BladeHQ... Mine has a barely audible click when I open it, scarcely noticeable, but the ...
