Re: Is there support for an LC200N Street Beat?

I just watched YouTube videos from Nick Shabaz and Pelagic on the Waterway. Awesome steel. Awesome job on the grips. YES, I would prefer a Street Beat shape with the Waterway grips, in LC200N, and if Spyderco makes it I'll buy at least two, but I'm probably not going to wait for the knife to happen...

Re: Your Idea of a DREAM HAWKBILL folder?

I don't know if they qualify, but here goes. 1. LC200N, Compression lock, Dodo. 2. Lil Matriarch done up nicely, maybe some solid contoured cf. LC200N or M4. Not quite Hawkbills. Dodobills? Yeah, I was going to say my Dodofly and Cricketfly concepts. Reverse S shaped blades in the Dragonfly body. F...

Re: Sell me the Amalgam !

I never thought I would be tempted to even consider buying the Amalgam but after watching a few YT reviews this bad boy started to grow on me. I was drawn back by the blade shape because I like my user blades to be able to penetrate into the material if necessary, mostly when I need to open large b...

Re: Spyderco for firefighter

Assist Salt. This is the only answer for Fire/EMS. I prefer the VG-10, but either would work. It has the best of all worlds for any sort of high stress task in close proximity to soft tissue. It also has a glass breaker, just incase. I normally recommend a Caribbean to everyone, but not for Fire/EM...

Re: Slysz Bowie out of stock everywhere?

It was too small in the grip. Need one closer to the size of the Caribbean.

Re: If you could give any Spyderco the Cruwear / Micarta treatment.....

Do I also get the thicker rounded scales with this dream combo? For the record I think it's a combo that most fixed blades should be done in so I'm on board with the Street Beat and others. Folder wise of course I'm gonna say Caribbean and Sliverax because I want more versions of them. After that I...

Does anyone know what day the M4 Dodo from BHQ is going to drop??
Not yet.

I hope it doesn't come out too quick, the Cruwear Shaman is taking a chunk out of the budget. I don't like the thought of trying to reason that one out with the wife...

Re: Is there support for an LC200N Street Beat?

The Spyderco Street Beat fixed blade is small at a 3.5 inch blade, but it would suffice. It has a great handle for holding on to when wet. Looking for something 3.5 to 4.5 inches in LC200N. The Spyderco WaterWay does not have a grip that looks very good for someone in the shower with a head or hand...

This doesn't bode well for my desire...

As much as I like the Swick, the Street Beat always seems to outshine it.

I'll be waiting!

Re: C-46 Lum Tanto Folder: For an EDC anyone?

If I could find a user for sale I would. All of mine are sac religiously works of art. I can’t bring myself to carry them. Yeah I kind of know what you mean. I was lucky enough to have snagged the "user" C-46 Lum Tanto in a trade and it was used when I got it. But the other C-46 Lum tanto models I'...

LC200N Street Beat, it's like you "read" my mind. :p

I don't need a shower knife, but I really want an LC200N version in white micarta. Or bare steel, so we can make our own handles.
