Re: A plea to Spyderco:

I like my small knives to have thin blade stock. With larger blades(taller), they can have thicker stock and end up plenty thin down by the edge. How about a Baby Horn thinned to the max? I would love to see how thin LC200N can go, without becoming too unstable. That would be fantastic! Baby Horn Af...

Re: So when does this forum start speculating about the upcoming discontinued models???

It gets me excited, I spent quite a bit last year. Some got sold/traded, some were given as gifts and a select few were kept as users.

The Mantra was last years star, I also still have and will probably keep the Junction.

Re: Bradley folder

I have yet to have any M4 rust on me and I'm in the mountains of North Georgia. If you haven't tried M4, I would suggest giving it a whirl. It is quite stain resistant. My Mantra has only the faintest sign of patina after close to a years usage, whereas Rex45 rusted on me within two hours. Mineral o...

Re: spyderco/esee collab?

The Enuff is dimensionally similar to the Izula2. They just need to switch the scales from frn to canvas micarta. My Izula has an edge so thick that it is fairly useless for me. I very, very much prefer the BK14 over the Izula. I prefer my Street Beat over either one of them. the street beat doesn'...

Why would two mainstream knife production companies collaborate? ESEE can buy LC200N steel can't they?
Yea, but I don't need quarter inch blade stock. That's why I buy Spydercos.

x1000

That is my favorite Spyderco fixed blade. I'm super excited about the Swick, but it's second on my list.

Do you know what I would do for an LC200N Street Beat with smooth micarta? The answer wouldn't be appropriate for these lovely forums!

So when do we get to see the new Spyderco Pocket Rocket? Haha!

I haven't thought about a slingshot since I was a child.

Awesome! I'm making a set of wooden scales for my S4. I'll go ahead and rough cut another set.

Have you guys tested LC200N as a hardware(screw/bolts) material yet?

Re: Oh wow!

This is an amazing knife, to be sure. Pictures do not do justice to it. If I were making it I would choose a backlock and put jimping on the bottom of the bolsters. But it is as nice as any custom is realistically likely to be (I’ve seen a few) without spending a huge amount of cash. I’m amazed at ...

Re: M390 or Cruwear Delica?

I'd have to choose CruWear, I don't buy from BBS.

Honestly, the Mantra is so perfect I don't have much desire for a Delica. The only one I want is Supergold, but I've yet to pull the trigger.

Rock Salt would get my vote aswell.

I'd like to have a Rock Salt in LC200N.

Re: Behold! The elusive "Dodofly"!

I've never had a blade this shape. Can someone explain the purpose to me? It reminds me of my old sewing seam ripper. Also, can it be sharpened easily on a sharpmaker? Somehow, it just works. I'm not sure how. This would be my first Dragonfly. I urge you you try some of the current Dragonfly models...

Re: The PERFECT Double Bladed Folder?

The answer is a double Ikuchi. Each blade on opposite ends of the knife, both flipper wheel activated. Both blades would be flush in the handle, compression lock because it's better, flow through design.
