Re: What's your favorite Spyderco that's a little bit of a "hidden gem?"

Unfortunately some fine gentleman acquired it from me surreptitiously and without my authorization at a bar one night, but I had a little stainless Jester CE that was so handy. The perfect box opener. I'm tempted to snag one of the G-10 sprints to replace it but I procrastinate. That's one we don't...

Yep. Would love to see burgundy, mustard, eggplant, or even some brighter colors as well. More people friendly.
Eggplant is the perfect description of the purple I want. White, burgandy and persimmon(Rex45 was close) are also colors I would like to see.

Re: Vote: SMOCK v.s. IKUCHI

I did not have a closer look yet on how the release button of the comp. lock is constructed, but could it be that it REQUIRES some kind of choil , cause otherwise the infolded blade would collide with the release button mechanism? It does. Not a drawback for us who like choils though, and it's not ...

Re: What drives me batty

The thing that really drives me crazy is that I cannot afford to buy all of the knives that I want from Spyderco. What is worse, just as I decide to pull the trigger on one I have been wanting, Spyderco comes along and tells me one I have been hoping for is soon to be had. AAAHHHH!!! I feel your pa...

Re: I gave my best knives away. Now what?

My brother has had a rough life. He struggled in his teens, dropped out of highschool, had a hard time relating to pretty much anyone. Now he's got a driver's license, finished his GED, and is going to school for software development at a tech school. One thing we have in common is knife collecting...

Re: Yojimbo Love?

The only thing I would change are the finger grooves, they make it unusable for me. Smooth those down and it would be 100% better for those of us who don't have tiny mits!

I'll never cry about one being FFG...

Re: Custom DLC & handle colors, steels and handle materials

So, what would you like to see? They have the ability to do it so what would you like to see? I want to see a DLC coating that looks like tiger claws, orange on black with a striped orange and black G-10/Carbon fiber handle. Obviously on a Para 3. And, I'm NOT a Bengals fan, although I'm sure they ...

Re: New Proposed Model - Spyderco Antilles

It really wouldn't take much to make a Lil Native Salt, especially since it's already linerless. Actually the compression lock has liners, the lock back does not. I have and will only buy linered knives. Looks really good. I would buy one in black with liners. Liners for the win! I like this blade ...

But I’m sure they could offer different colors in that PVD coating on the River’s Edge exclusive.

+1 One dealer I was talking to was toying with the idea of an exclusive with a white PVD blade!
+>9000!!!!!
