Re: Manix Modifications. What have you done? What do you want to do?

I did this mod over 4 years ago after the Maxamet LW’s first came out and I wanted a G-10 version… since then, mostly scale/spring/cage swaps…

Re: DLT Kapara Exclusive!

The red spacer is perfect! The blue makes the Spyderco knife look like the mass amount of Benchmade Griptilian’s out there! I like the blue spacer idea but I can’t get past the likeness to the 20cv Grip... So, any color but blue...

I'm guilty of owning every variant of the Chap. I love it. My EDC chap is the CF version, but I love them all.
Same here! The maple Chap has found some pocket time recently thou. I think I received a great sample!

Re: REX45 Para 3 Lightweight

Has Blade HQ dropped yet? I have alerts set up on several of the big sites but haven't received anything yet. Edit: Well, Blade HQ let me pay for it, I was able to add to cart from my wishlist and spend some money. We'll see. Shows as shipped as of this morning! Should be here by Monday. For those ...

Re: Paramilitary 2 Lightweight?

Hopefully the LW Paramilitary 2 will have a partial liner on both sides so that the stop pin has a solid load path. While it hasn't been a problem for my LW Para 3, I tend to use much more force using my Paramilitary 2's. I don't think the overall length of the handle needs the structural support as...

I'm not really into fixed blades (other than kitchen use) but I have to say that's a really nice looking design. Looking forward to getting mine.
That is exactly why I'm receiving two tomorrow to try out as steak knives... At least that is what I told my better half! ;)

Re: Maxamet+G10 on more models?

@DirtMcGirt, I had noticed this issue as well and while the problem would be down the road as far as wear goes, I am hoping that swapping out with slightly larger ceramic balls might do the trick as far as late locks are concerned. The cage is already oversized for a larger ball and should be easily...

Re: Maxamet+G10 on more models?

@legOFwhat, the Maxamet G-10 Manix was created out of a marriage of a DLT Manix 20CV and a FRN Manix Maxamet. The gray FRN was simple enough to pull the blade out of but proved too hard to put the 20CV blade back into so I resorted to drilling out the rivets and replaced them with barrel nuts and sc...

Re: Spyderco Calypso Jr. Sprint Run Knife Gray (Aogami Super Blue)

I’m really pumped to get this knife! I just informed KC that I wanted them to split ship an order so this is on its way! Best part of the deal is that KC honored the original mis-marked price when it was first advertised.. I picked this one up for around $32 shipped!!!!

Re: Who carries their Spyderco in a pocket organizer?

For everyday carry, for either the front or back pockets, I use this carrier below from Kevin Lane (Etsy - EDCLANE) which is a solid choice for around $20. It is shown with a Maxamet PM3 and an AA flashlight in the main slots. For bigger (read back pockets only, no sitting) I use the Maxpedition Mic...
