Persistence. Just bought it today after maybe 3 weeks of "research" (me just looking at Spyderco's online for a few hours at a time) and it's going to be my first Spyderco.

I liked the look of the swick series, and if they made one in H1 or some other rust resistant metal, I would definitely get one. Been looking for a neck knife for a bit.

So if a lot of people would want to buy one, is there any way that Spyderco might take a look at this thread or some others and decide to do another limited run?

I see the Delica is a major recommendation for a first Spydeco, would y'all suggest getting the one with the wave feature or no for a first?

One of the things that drew me towards the Para 3 was the compression lock. How strong is it compared to liner and the other forms of locks?

The Para 3 that got my eyes was the C223GPCMOBK with the black blade and camo handle.

As for the knife that I sharpened once, yes it was a bit sharper but later on I tried another knife and all I ended up doing was slightly scratching the blade.

I don't have much experience sharpening. A brother of mine bought an old school whetstone once and I tried sharpening a fixed blade on it. Not sure if I did it right or not. I've looked at the Sharpmaker and it might be something I'll pick up at a later date.
