The best use for this knife is as a camping or backpacking knife. And it's a freaking awesome backpacking or camping knife. If you want to carry a pocketknife to cut food, a cheap Opinel or SAK is a way better choice than a Spydiechef. They will outslice it by a mile, owing to simple blade geometry. It's rad. It's somewhere between a modern Pattata and a PM2. It's much taller and much thicker than the traditional bladestyle. That looks great, congrats. I might get one for my knife roll. Anybody doing custom scales for these? It'd look cool as a "restaurant" version with stabilized walnut or flaming maple scales. It'd be cool with bronze or copper hardware too. Does Spyderco make a waiter's tool? But I digress....
