My 2 faves of my 20+ knives are the fixed blade SOG Tigershark and the Spyderco Howard Viele folder. The latter is the prettiest and perhaps sharpest knife I've ever come across. I must, however, award the Civilian an honorable mention.

My first spydie was actually a remote release. Saw it in the case at MVP Sports and fell in love with the spring loaded belt loop clip. now have five others, fave of which is the Viele. Best buy i ever made.

Always have a schrade multitool with me and a maglite solitare. Unfortunately got suckered into the schrade before I saw the leatherman wave and supertool. Oh well...

My favorite is definately the Howard Viele, but I also like the Jess Horn, Peter Herbst, and Wegner.

My first was actually a remote release. Sort of surprised to see that no one else said that. Have since gotten a spyderedge delica and a 50/50 Jess Horn lightweight. Spydercard and Howard Viele soon to follow.
