Action seems the same to me between the two versions

Had a new Smock land at my house today. It has the new style pivot. Compared to the original the screw is much larger, stands proud of the plane of the scales and has 5 "dots" around the Torx center. Not sure what to think....

Have a Manix 2 SNK version on the way

If you like Micarta scales, then RC Blade works is a great solution. They make high quality scales with lots of color and inlay options

Not for me. The Caribbean is much different from a carry and i the pocket perspective then a PM2. The PM2 feels much smaller, and the leaf-ish blade shape of the Caribbean creates a different option

Got a 15V PM2 from AG Russell in the mail today.
Had an interesting green sticker on the bar code label of the box, with the printing: SPC81GPBN.
Probably a Russell thing ?

The same on the one I received from AG Russell....wish they would have not put it over the standard Spyderco sticker

Curious, does anyone know of reputable sellers of these styles of scales? Sharp dressed knives makes scales in this exact material.
