He does great work, and will accommodate almost any mix of materials. In my experience micarta with wood enlays are the look/feel I prefer.

Have this one in hand today. The scales have a wonderful soft feel, some of the best micarta scales I have held. And since they are Spyderco factory scales they have the rounded profiles.

This is definitely my favorite Shaman by far!

Just a deeper carry clip, for my part. I find the blade shape and ergos excellent, it just rides a tad high in my pocket. A nice red G-10 would look nice too.

Agree, release a sprint or dealer exclusive with a deeper carry and shorter pocket clip, and a micarta showside scale. I am in for sure

Somewhat unusual to see BBS leading all other retailers with a very competitive price.

Dropped a Chaparral while closing the knife tip first onto a the tile floor of a kitchen, broke the tip. Into a vice the knife went and some quick passes with a hand file brought the knife back to a pointy tip.Result was maybe a tiny change to the blade profile.

The scales are very smooth, much like the smooth G10 from some the KnifeCenter exclusives. I find the texture to be smooth as compared to slippery. Sure Spyderco's normal G10 is very grippy sometimes to ...
